For those of you that engage in such things, a few prayers for some friends please.
Some friends and colleagues of my wife and I lost two daughters, one pregnant, and another friend of ours lost a niece in a horrible car accident last night. Not a good day.
What'd you expect, dipshit?shadowknows69 Donating Member (1000+ posts) Sun May-24-09 07:59 AM

8. Wow, like 80+ views and four different comments?
We used to have some heart and empathy around here. I know you don't know these people. Maybe it's not in your belief system to pray but for pity's sake acknowledge with me the loss of parents who are among the best, most generous, most dedicated and heroic people you'd ever want to know.
Sorry, a bit emotional right now, as an introvert, virtual hugs are all I get.
Hey, Shadow, maybe quit begging for prayers from a site that prides itself on hatred of religion (except Islam, of course) as fairy tales and buffoonery? Maybe start there?
By now you should know that the only way to engage the "spirituality" of a DUmmy is by mentioning "sage burning" and the propagation of "healing white light" or some other bullshit that they will permit strictly because the only form of religion remotely endorsed by DU is a bizarre melange of native American folk religion, wicca, and the sort of medieval jackassery practiced by fat white women dressed in black.
Turn your computer off and turn to your real family and friends, brother. No one on DU gives a shit about anyone in times of grief, because their lives are so filled with hatred and despair that they lost the capacity for empathy and compassion long ago.
