Sharing a momentous occasion...
« on: May 24, 2009, 08:49:35 AM »
My 8 yr old got his first homerun yesterday....2 run shot!  Just wanted to brag and share a picture!

This is him rounding 3rd, and getting congrats from his coach.

Awww....that's a great picture!!! You need to have that one framed.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Great photo.  You will cherish it, believe me.  I found my youngest son's baseball card the other day.  I teared up.  He's 29 now.

The photo takes me back to when I gave myself a black eye trying to pitch my first time.  If I had to wear those goggles and helmet, I'd probably be blind and missing an ear today.

Safety first!   :p

I love the look on his face when he was rounding the bases. What would be a really greyt pic would be the look on your face watching his homer.  :-)

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....
