flvegan (1000+ posts) Sat May-23-09 01:52 PMOriginal message I really should be out mowing my lawn. All the dogs are in, and its been 24 hours since it last rained. It will probably rain in 3 or 4 hours, so I don't have much of a window to do it. It is, however, like a thousand degrees outside so I'm a bit unmotivated.I need a hot half naked sunbathing neighbor or something, dammit.

Lorax (209 posts) Sat May-23-09 04:35 PM9. Me too. I should have mowed my lawn and finished working on that twig fence I'm building around my potato garden. But first I had to go to the grocery store to pick up a few things for the weekend. The grocery store is right next to the liquor store. Today was customer appreciation day at the liquor store. They were having tons of tastings and sales. Of course I had to stop in there. I tasted 7 different wines, 6 beers, and a rum that I ordinarily would never have tried. Quite a few I liked. Of course I had to buy two six's of beer, forgetting how tired beer makes me.After getting home, grilling a quick burger and drinking a very tasty, full bodied beer, there's no way I'm doing that yard work now. I think I'll just sit here all fat and happy on the couch until some of the happy wears off. Then I'll walk the dogs. That's about as much ambition as I can handle. The lawn can wait until tomorrow.
