Mancow made ALL the torturepologists out to be fools & liars. Who's next?

Come on hannity, you started this, now the idiot mancow has ended it, so step up to the waterboard challenge sean, and next in line should be limbaugh and cheney, or are they TOO ****ING COWARDLY TO ADMIT THEY'VE BEEN TOTALLY WRONG ABOUT ALL THIS?

Uh, wrong, MoPud.

Lurking DUmmies, try to get this: I would bet money that most Americans don't give a shit WHAT you call waterboarding, and I'm also willing to bet that more than half thre country is JUST FINE with torturing assholes that would harm us. You're arguing over semantics that NO ONE CARES ABOUT except YOU.

The US waterboarded 3 right? just 3 murderous terrorists, whom we informed would not be injured by what they were about to get.

I still wouldn't call waterboarding "torture."  Just because something makes you very uncomfortable, even to the point of making you talk, doesn't mean it's torture.  The primitives seem to equate "making someone so uncomfortable that they're willing to spill the beans" into being an act of torture, which isn't always the case. More of that black/white viewpoint they possess they continually claim others have.

.
Because third world peasant labor is a good thing.

They call it torture so as to try to fabricate a "crime" out of a long standing tool that we have to get information.

That is why Pelosi said nothing years ago,it was accepted as routine and wonder if there is any Clinton era documentation that also signed off on it.

Sandy.....you got any info on this?

Waterboarding anyone without them having a legitimate secret being kept or some substantial threat is worthless.

Not necessarily.  If a terrorist was waterboarded, and sang like a canary, and another wannabe terrorist were released with this info (about the watrerboarding), the example just may scare one or two potential DUchebags into not going jihadi.  Or, at least that's my opinion.

I wasn't very clear in what I meant, it was worded poorly, sorry.  A persons ability to withstand waterboarding or at least the length of time they may withstand it is relative to the value they place on the information they are protecting.  Take Mancow, for example, he had nothing to gain by enduring any lengthy period.  Now , say if kidnappers were trying to find out where his family is hiding, then he'd have something to lose and would maybe not have given up so soon.

The fact these guys are jihadis is justification enough for any treatment, up to and including interrogation methods used by Jack Bauer before his writers went moonbat on us. In every case at Gitmo, interrogation should have been immediately followed by either repatriation to whatever hellhole these camel jockeys came from, or execution. It is regrettable that W and Cheney were compassionate. We may pay the price for their compassion in the future.

It's getting to be absurd considering we have more celebrities volunteer to be waterboarded than terrorist who were waterboarded. The only real crime here is Obama's tortured explanation's of the numerous campaign promises he is now breaking so he can be more in line with what Bush was doing all along. (see: “preventive detention” and “Rendition-lite” )

fwiw- Hot Air's source is the very Obama friendly New York Times (and Obama's own words fo course, lol)
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Anyone else think the terrorists are laughing their asses off thinking waterboarding is torture?

Kinda pales in comparison to getting ones head sawed of with a dull knife, doncha think?

Frikkin' asshats!

We may pay the price for their compassion in the future.

It's not really compassion, that the primitives have.

It's only piggish swinish boarish stupidity.

Compassion is rendered by those who have been harmed; it can't be extended by those who've never been hurt.
