Oh my.
One has to look at this from Oscar Wilde's point of view, the large-proboscised primitive's point of view.
Oscar Wilde once had a good job on Wall Street, being one of these young guys running from post to post with messages on the main floor of the stock market.
Oscar Wilde was treated very well, making more money than many his own age and background and experience, but then one sunny afternoon, simply walked off the job.
Oscar Wilde is allegedly a veteran of military service, but I'm not sure--yet--where this fits in.
Oscar Wilde lives in Florida, where he apparently works for a private contractor for a governmental agency. Don't quote me on this, as I'm only 67-75% sure, not 100% sure.
Oscar Wilde, originally from either Staten Island or New Jersey, loathes and detests Florida, and the affection and acceptance of Floridians. Oscar Wilde really loathes Florida and Floridians. Oscar Wilde's complaints about Florida and Floridians would probably comprise, I dunno, six or seven 500,000-word books.
Because of budget cuts and the in-general state of this lousy 0bama economy, Oscar Wilde is being faced with the possibility of being laid off.
Oscar Wilde sees this as a bad thing; franksolich sees this as a good thing.
If laid off, Oscar Wilde would have to move back in with his parents, up there in Staten Island or New Jersey. Oscar Wilde doesn't like Florida and Floridians anyway, so that's good for him.
And as for Florida and Floridians, the departure of Oscar Wilde from their hospitable arms would be a relief, they no longer having to deal with an ungrateful asshole in their midst.
It's a win-win situation for both Oscar Wilde and Florida. Nobody loses.
And hence Oscar Wilde's current contempt for God, and all that is good and decent in the world. Oscar Wilde is just really terribly horribly unhappy, which makes one negative about things.
