Vice President Joe Biden, well-known for his verbal gaffes, may have finally outdone himself, divulging potentially classified information meant to save the life of a sitting vice president.

According to a report, while recently attending the Gridiron Club dinner in Washington, an annual event where powerful politicians and media elite get a chance to cozy up to one another, Biden told his dinnermates about the existence of a secret bunker under the old U.S. Naval Observatory, which is now the home of the vice president.

The bunker is believed to be the secure, undisclosed location former Vice President Dick Cheney remained under protection in secret after the 9/11 attacks.

Eleanor Clift, Newsweek magazine's Washington contributing editor, said Biden revealed the location while filling in for President Obama at the dinner, who, along with Grover Cleveland, is the only president to skip the gathering.

According to the report, Biden "said a young naval officer giving him a tour of the residence showed him the hideaway, which is behind a massive steel door secured by an elaborate lock with a narrow connecting hallway lined with shelves filled with communications equipment."

What is it about keeping secrets  SECRET don't democrats get?????

Hundreds of millions have been spent constructing these bunkers to protect the federal government in the event of an attack with NBC weapons, and democrats keep divulging their location.

It wasn't until a senior democrat senator opened his flap about Greenbrier that the public had absolutely no knowledge of the massive bunker designed to protect members of the U.S. government.

It made absolutely no sense to me for NORAD to shut down their operations in Cheyenne Mountain.  A rumor has been floating around for years that there is a bunker buried DEEPER in the mountains, either on the east or west, than Cheyenne Mountain.   Not sure if it is true, but if it is and a democrat finds out where it is, you can bet they will quickly reveal it's location.

Chances are Biden has been told bad information because it was assumed he would blab.  It's sort of like how I use to tell my kids all the Christmas presents were hidden at grandma's when they were really in the trunk of my car.

Of course, I will probably be dying at the same time from some other biden stupidity, so I wouldn't get the the chance, but I am just saying...

I'd actually prefer Biden as President, he's a much funnier clown and I think he is only crazy whereas Obama is rationally insane.

I mean simply given the choice between McCain and Obama in this last election, I'd take Biden any day of the week.

In fact, I think it has been the first time in my voting life I would have preferred the VP of either side to the tops of the ticket.

Of course, my first election was 1984 and even though I wasn't really politically identified way back then it was pretty obvious that the Dems were running two VP's and since I was going into the army the next day and the only thing I really knew about Reagan was he was good for the military, my first election was a total no-brainer.  Which was a good thing since I am not sure how well my brain did work in those days.
