OWOSSO -- (05/10/09)--A Mid-Michigan woman says she was denied entry into Canada because she is on welfare.

Rose Kelley of Owosso says she has filed a discrimination complaint with the Canada Border Services Agency over its refusal to let her and her two children cross the border via the Blue Water Bridge connecting Port Huron with Sarnia, Ontario.

The Associated Press has reported that the 25-year-old Kelley told The Argus-Press of Owosso that she planned to visit friends and relatives when she arrived at the border May 1. She says she was told to furnish evidence of citizenship, financial support and other documentation, but was denied entry again on May 3.

Kelley says she was told she didn't make enough money and people on welfare shouldn't take vacations.

Hah, now the truth comes out.  This is why so many of the damn DUmmies only TALKED about leaving the US when President Bush was elected the second time.  No other countries wanted their lazy asses on their welfare roles.  :rotf:

New Zealand won't let you immigrate if you weigh to much.  Which explains why large (deliberate use of the words) numbers of them can't go there

We have "student exchange" programs, why not "citizen exchange" programs?

We could trade communism loving DUmmies for people from all over the socialist world that want to live here under capitalism. The socialist countries could increase their socialist voter base while we increase our capitalist voter base. It would be a win-win situation for all concerned.

Of course certain restrictions would apply. No refunds or returns allowed and if one is damaged in shipping, tough, they were probably that way before packageing.

Yeah, unfortunately most of Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia are perfectly happy with communism/socialism.
