Miss California Discussion and Trump's Verdict
« on: May 11, 2009, 07:37:42 PM »
So, compaire these two photo's.

She walked across the stage in front of America showing just as much, if not more skin then in this photo that everyone is raising a flap about.  So can someone please explain to me what the deal is with that picture?

Honestly, I know it's just some lame excuse that the head hunters are using because of her Gay Marriage stance, but I'm amazed that it's even caught any traction.

I heard that soulless idiot Kirsten Powers on Fox News Watch this past Saturday:

Quote
She, on the other hand, invokes Christianity. Once you invoke Christianity, I'm sorry, people start looking at you and saying, OK, are you living up to what Christians do?...Once she invoked it, it's fair to say, OK, if you're going to judge other people and tell them how to live their life based on Christianity, are you the spokesperson for Christianity.

Personally, I would like to see this standard held to eco-wacktovists, such as Algore, is Algore with his four mansions and carbon offset scams really living his life based on the tenets of eco-wacktivism or liberalism?

Anyway, this is just what liberals do, if you become prominent for some reason but don't really have any real power or aren't a liberal, as is Barak Obama who holds the same exact views as Carrie Prejean, they just destroy them.  They did it with Judge Bork back in the 1980s they are doing today with Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber and anyone else who gets in their way.

In 2009, under the the Big Egg0, America has become a downright mean country.

She went against the hive. Now she must be destroyed in any way possible. One of the pageant's directors went on some talk show "outing" her for having breast implants and told the world that the pageant (state level?) paid for them. Now, you can't tell me they would have done that had she been promoting gay marriage. They would have NEVER let anything personal come out, including those photos. :whatever:

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I'm curious as to how the Donald will decide tomorrow. If he let's her keep her crown, he'll earn the wrath of the Skittles Flag wavers.

I was hoping Miss Prejean would make up their minds for them.  I want her to publicly quit.  I want her to tell the world she has no desire to be associated with such a Godless organization.  I want her to make it clear she is so far above the trash running the pagent that it makes her sick to her stomach she ever allowed herself to be "judged" by such hate-filled and disgusting people.

Me too.  I'm thinking he'll say she gave an honest answer to a question that probably shouldn't have been asked.

Didn't he give another beauty queen a 2nd chance a few years ago?  He owns the product, and I think he's on the girls' side.  He'll be on Greta tonight !

I think he did, but can't recall the circumstances.   It would be nice if did what you said about the question not being asked.  Maybe in the future, they'll set up guidelines for the questions that judges can ask.  We've seen that a judge can use their opportunity to play "gotcha".

I don't think that old photo is Prejean. Doesn't look like her. It would be a good thing if Prejean loses her crown because she will become even more popular while the left crashes.

I'm surprised that Perez Hilton hasn't been offered the host slot on Meet the Press yet.

Wait, she is at least 18, right?

Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant, made the announcement Tuesday at Trump Tower in New York City."  Link

I hope this makes a few heads assplode over on Skin's Island.  :fuelfire:  I think Trump did the right thing in not bowing to PC pressure, good for him.

Trump made the announcement moments ago. He supported Ms. Prejean. She will not lose her Ms California crown, but she will not seek the Ms USA crown, either. Trump admitted that Perez Hilton's scores most certainly didn't help her to win the Ms USA Title.

Well, if he's supporting Ms. Prejean, what's he gonna do about getting rid of Pole Puffer Hilton?

Although, I have to admit, PP Hilton did more to draw attention to this  "competition" than Bert Parks ever could.

Carrie Prejean Keeps Her Miss California Crown

Lewis added that Prejean’s appearances with the National Organization for Marriage and other anti-gay marriage groups have created “confusion in the marketplace” because it is difficult to separate Prejean’s personal convictions from those of the Miss California organization.

Still, the Miss California organization announced yesterday they had appointed an alternate for Prejean.

According to pageant co-directors Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, regardless of Trump’s decision, first runner up Tami Ferrell will serve as “an ambassador” for the state’s organization, appearing at events in Prejean’s absence or in situations where it would be “unwise” to send her.

Getting emotional at times, Prejean said that she forgave those who had spoken out against her over the past weeks.

"My faith requires forgiveness," she said. "So I forgive everyone."

Eupher;
Apparently Trump is avoiding trouble by stating that Hilton would be welcomed back as a judge to other pageants.

It's not topless until I can see the nipples.
