Secret U.S.-Israel Nuclear Accord in Jeopardy

President Obama's efforts to curb the spread of nuclear weapons threaten to expose and derail a 40-year-old secret U.S. agreement to shield Israel's nuclear weapons from international scrutiny, former and current U.S. and Israeli officials and nuclear specialists tell The Washington Times.

The issue will likely come to a head when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with Mr. Obama on May 18 in Washington. Mr. Netanyahu is expected to seek assurances from Mr. Obama that he will uphold the U.S. commitment and will not trade Israeli nuclear concessions for Iranian ones.

Assistant Secretary of State Rose Gottemoeller, speaking Tuesday at a U.N. meeting on the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), said Israel should join the treaty, which would require Israel to declare and relinquish its nuclear arsenal.

Well Netanyahu better not expect any support or assurances from The Appeaser, because he will sell Israel out. Israel is on her own now.

I had dinner with some Jewish friend about a week before the election.  They were all BO fans.  I told them I could not understand why anyone who is Jewish could possibly vote for the guy and they were offended.  The only reason they could give me for voting for BO was they did not like Bush...certainly the fact that Bush was not running seemed to escape them.

BO is going to force the Jewish state to take out the Iranian nuclear facility all by themselves and then suffer the consequences of the world opinion. 

Hopefully in four years they will have learned their lesson.

I doubt it, the American Jewish population is a reliable Democrat voting block, usually breaking about 2:1 for the most lib candidate.  The "1" in the ratio go Conservative for a variety of reasons, not just support for Israel, though that may be the biggest reason.  The "2" in the ratio are very heavily urban, well-educated (Indoctrinated) and they aren't pro-Life, pro-RKBA, or real concerned about Israel compared to domestic social agenda issues.
