Your Star Trek Horoscope
« on: May 08, 2009, 03:24:22 AM »
Taurus
Apr 20 - May 20
Because of a burst of tachyons the stars are unable to use sensors to detect your horoscope.

Gemini
May 21 - June 21
Wearing your red ensign shirt to the movie will just ensure you will be sent on the away mission to get popcorn and thus miss parts of the movie.

Cancer
June 22 - July 22
The stars don't want you boldly going on them.

Leo
July 23 - Aug 22
You will discover that using your Bat'leth to keep people quiet in the theater only results in more screaming.

Virgo
Aug 23 - Sep 22
You will embarrass your daughter with your phaser and Original Series Kirk shirt at the premiere. She'll never forget. Double your retirement savings.

"Who are you geeks, and what are you doing on my bridge?"

The groom looks pretty trashed (or he's regretting his decision already).  And who the hell is that damn Stormtrooper?  Wrong series, dude. :lmao:

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there's a very, VERY good reason why the Star Trek Experience in LV is gone.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there's a very, VERY good reason why the Star Trek Experience in LV is gone.

Um, no it isn't. It was supposed to reopen today in a new location.

"Once left for dead just off the the Strip, Star Trek: The Experience is set to reopen in its new downtown Las Vegas home May 8 — just in time for the big opening of J.J. Abrams’ new film.

According to comments from CBS and Paramount, The Experience will return to Vegas with new shops and restaurants near Fremont Street (above), Sci Fi Wire reports.

As originally reported by Wired.com, the Neonopolis, a multipurpose entertainment center, will serve as the The Experience’s new dock.

While the attraction will open in time for the Trek movie premiere, it will take time to move museum artifacts, rides and other attractions into the space. The Experience isn’t expected to hit warp speed until 2010." http://www.wired.com/underwire/2009/02/star-trek-exper/

The old, dead area of LV.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
