Wednesday.  Of course, the sun comes out today, and I'm heading off to Alabama!  Baseball was cancelled again last night due to rain.

I'll be in Alabama till Sunday, so have fun!

Rain, cold, and wind today.  So of course my work for the day is outside.  At least I dressed for it.

Dealing at the poker room tonight, and then on 12-hour days until Memorial Day.

I'm still sore from my personal training session on Monday.  I have a ton of work to do (as usual).

I'm currently sitting here sipping my coffee and trying to get enough motivation to finish getting ready for work.

Warm in the Sandhills of Nebraska today--not hot, but warm--rain mixed with sunshine.  Everything green here grew by another couple of inches, from circa 24 hours ago.

The cats are confused, because yesterday they could scan the whole lawn and meadow, but today the grass is too high for that.

It's amazing how the grass is growing.  Last Thursday, the areas around the golf greens were still near barren.  Now they're lush and beautiful.

Today is my Friday.  Off work the next two days to watch the kiddo graduate from college and to "entertain" the outlaws inlaws.

Off to Bowling Green later this evening... finally sourced a transmission for my car.  I may be able to pick up a second (matching) transmission from an '83 Maxima as well.  I'm enjoying my day off after a long weekend.

I'm imagining the hell they put you through in your personal training session. In AC the other day, she had us use a platform that we were to do tricep dips from...the catch...someone held our feet while we did them..argh! I'd already done strength training that day so those were rough! LOL

Dammit, my shoulders hurt.  I hate driving for long stretches.  And I'm paying someone else to install that transmission for me... that bastard was heavy.

I got to see the historic section of Russellville, Kentucky today.  It was pretty interesting; I wish I had brought my camera.  The guy I bought a transmission from lived across the street from a house that had been used during the Civil War as a hospital.  And those twisty country roads are a blast as long as you don't do what I did.

Does anyone else have those damn speed humps in their neighborhood?  The speed limit on this one road was 25mph and I hit one of those things doing about 60.  Okay, maybe I was doing 40 by the time my wheels locked up.  Maybe that's why my front wheels are out of round.  Ah, I had a blast.  Getting lost wasn't fun.  I took a different way home because I couldn't find the turnoff for 431.  Can't believe I almost got myself lost in the ghetto in Springfield (TN).  Lots of farms out that way... pretty.
