No way.  She'll immediately start positioning herself for 2012, by trying to knife whoever actually wins in the back for 3-1/2 years after a six month pretension of Kumbayah.  Dumping Bill won't fit that plan, though if I was him I'd give serious thought to employing a food taster from Spring of 2012 onward.

Cutting him loose might help her out for 2012. I don't believe a divorce would hurt her at all.

Nope.  Ain't gonna happen.  No former First Couple is going to divorce.  They will be married until a stake through the heart doth part them.

Why divorce him when an "accidental death" would be so much more convenient? A widow of a Democrat Icon?  What's not to like about this scenario?

You heard it here first, folks.

Nope. Ain't gonna happen. It's not a marriage, it's a business arrangement. She's running on his accomplishments - I don't see her risking a divorce. The public is fickle and let's face it, BJ Bill was always the more popular of the two. A divorce could easily backfire. She's probably hoping silently that he starts hoovering up Big Macs again (bad ticker and all...).

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I read an article earlier this week (Not in the Star  :-)) that said a divorce now, during her campaign, might actually propel her *forward* .. the thinking being,

1. women think she's an idiot for sticking by the cheater.
2. it will most definitely keep Bill from embarassing the nation yet again.

although, then that begs the question of, 'what does the nation think of a president with no spouse?'  and 'do we want to watch Hilary date in the White House?'  :thatsright:

and what does that do for all of the people who subconsiously want Billary back in the White House? I find it hard to believe that she's a draw all by herself.

Hillary is Bill's private hell. She doesn't ever let go.
