6. Being an inspiration and a role model.
His election to the Presidency inspired millions to realize that almost nothing is impossible when you dedicate yourself and work hard. The more people who realize and take action off of this truth, the better we will all be in the long run.
Of course, in office he has acted as a role model of leadership for people across the country and world - an example of integrity worth following.

When the facts are visible, the right policy paths become SO clear.
So...the best thing he's done is the same freaking thing as every secretary or mother in the whole dang world does EVERY day? Oh, wait maybe it's more complicated then that...maybe he's a circus clown (he's got the ears for it)...yeah that's it! Juggling...that makes him so much better than every SAHM in America.

10. This sounds like a cop out, but...
the best thing he's doing for America is multi-tasking. He's like a juggler keeping all the balls in the air. He's moving faster than the news cycle. He announces a new policy while the GOP is trying to counter the one from yesterday. The "teabagging" was a sign that they've given up on a point-by-point counter argument in favor of a general opposition.
The single best thing he's doing is taking charge.
Yeah, the man's a damn snowflake...so was my 5 year old granddaughter in the school play! Why do I feel like I'm still looking for Mr. Goodbar?

During this batshit crazy time in history his cool steadiness and ability to lower the temperature in a room is what is needed.
Oh yeah and he's the exact opposite of the asshole who was in office prior to him.
Oh, well, he's working damned hard...yeah...so did Jeffrey Dahmer...it takes a lot of effort to hide that many bodies for that long a time).
I work hard. When was the last time Obama plowed a field? Planted a few "rows for the homeless" alongside other crops? Cleaned a chicken coop? Milked 3 goats a day? Piled up 9 tons of hay? Killed and dressed 25 meat birds? Prepped 50 dozen eggs for market? Raised a couple Wagu beef and a half a dozen Boer goats from bottle to slaughter? Put up 3 acres of cross fencing and 7 acres of barrier fencing to keep livestock away from a salmon breeding stream (contrary to popular belief conservatives don't hate the environment they just don't need the gov breathing down their neck to do the right thing WHEN THEY CAN AFFORD IT)? This is what my past week has looked like...but I'm sure Obama having a hangnail would be more profound...it might mean he has to go to the manicurist before meeting with the White House Arugula Chef.

12. He's working damned hard.
That - and an end to the garish corruption of the nakedly fascistic Bush era - is what I voted for. There'll be missteps and things I disagree with, and there have been. But this man works as hard as I hoped he would. Can he fix shit? He's sure as hell trying. Godspeed him.
I can't wait for the day the country realizes he's overreached. It takes a lot to shake up the masses but the Obama administration is racing toward political suicide at breakneck speed. The media whores are filling them with a false sense of security with bogus polls and drooling praise. Unfortunately, reality WILL catch up. It's going to be orgasmic!
