Hippies, tree huggers, algore, and other moonbats will be worshiping mother earth (erf) today.   :whatever:  The rest of us will go about business as usual.   :innocent:

I'm having the guy down the road change the oil in the truck and then pouring the old oil in the creek across the field.

Oil comes from the earth and should be returned to the earth.  Happy Erf Day!

I'm roasting a spotted owl over a styrofoam and tire fire.

Stopping by the nursery on my way home from work to buy some "Erf" to spread around the veggie garden.

After that, driving my humongo 3-mpg bus with the spotted owl leather seats and baby seal hubcaps to the store to buy ONE stick of gum, then revving the engine in the McD's drivethrough while I eat double quarter pounders with cheese in the old styrofoam containers and wipe my face off with Al Gore's fatassed jacket before I throw it out the window.

Okay, so I stole most of that from Denis Leary, but it's a nice thought.  Actually working second job tonight at the poker room.  God, give me patience--RIGHT NOW!

I have work, then I'll probably go to the Gym, and if it is still light when I get home, I'll probably work in the yard.  I think I've finally convinced my parents to give up the "gardener" (some Mexican guys that come once a week to work on our front yard).  They've been butchering our plants, and it isn't worth it to pay them to mow the lawn, so I've promised to mow the lawn once a week, if they get rid of the gardener.  I'm hoping that if I mow the lawn tonight, my parents will get enough motivation to tell them that they are no longer needed when they come tomorrow.   :cheersmate:

I have some crazy friends back in Illinois......

A few years back, not only did I use used tires to help start fires to burn brush (Late 80's) across the road a guy had so much black smoke from burining tires from his burn pile, the airport that was just a couple miles away had to divert air traffic for a while. (true story)

Prior to that, in the 70's my grandparents had a salvage yard, and we would burn automotive wire so we could recycle the copper....since then, they decided that the ash from such fire is hazardous and has to be stored in drums.  :-)

We always had the cleanest fence rows....and never any weeds growing up in the cracks in the cement...used oil was great weed killer.

A garbage truck driver used to stop by our body shop when I was in high school to take 5 gallon cans of our used paint thinner....it killed the "smell" in the back of the truck...

Of course all of this is fictional and I will deny if the EPA cops show up.  :lmao: :lmao:

What is the worst thing you have ever done to the enviroment???

I'm taking my hotrod out today.  It is 75 degrees and she deserves a spin in this gorgeous weather.  I'm going to be burning fossil fuel as celebration for Erf day.   :-)

Liberal/hippie/treehuggers pay good money to other idiots to have a tree planted in their name.....I think I'll start one whereby for a few dollars, I'll cut one down in your name........capitalism at it's finest. :-)

We've got 14 ballasts here in the plant each of which contain 3 lbs. of PCBs, and they're leaking into the drainage ditch that flows underneath the child care center next door.

I'd say something about it, but since the water is stagnant and is growing mosquitoes at an alarming rate, isn't that more of a concern?

Oh, the EPA is under the Obama administration now. That means lotsa twubble, right?

You are assuming a parking lot isn't someone's idea of paradise.

I dunno what I'm going to do today.

Sounds like one of my days off.  Speaking of days off, yesterday sucked.  Nothing but bad news... the highlight of my day was dinner.

I heard from a poster on zdriver.com that HAD a couple cylinder heads for sale -- $20 each.  You can't even buy dirt that cheap.  He's moving to Nashville this week from Tampa (how's that for luck?) and will ask around for a '76-'80 model head for me on his way up here.

Which is more environmentally friendly: a reaction-neutral plastic bottle sitting in a landfill forever or a bottle you have to constantly use soap and hot water to wash and rewash after every use?
