Laurean back on U.S. soil
April 17, 2009 - 1:58 PM

(AP) - Federal officials say a Marine charged with killing a pregnant colleague in North Carolina is back in the U.S. after fleeing to Mexico.

FBI spokeswoman Amy Thoreson says 22-year-old Cpl. Cesar Laurean arrived in the U.S. today to face murder charges in the death of 20-year-old Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach of Vandalia, Ohio.

Onslow County District Attorney Dewey Hudson says he expects Laurean to arrive at the local jail later today. Laurean's first court appearance will be Monday.

Defense attorney Dick McNeil says he hasn't heard from federal officials.

Laurean was charged with first-degree murder in January 2008, after Lauterbach's charred remains were found buried in his backyard in Jacksonville. The two worked together at nearby Camp Lejeune.

I hope he is waterboarded, given sleep, eating deprivation..............and then lined up against the wall and killed by stabbing forks into him.

Oh yeah and this is what an ex Marine is...............just like Murtha
