Sounds like I missed a lot of fun.  I got an update from my friend Andrew on the one here.

The only politician there was Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, who spoke for a couple of minutes, but I couldn't hear her. The one speaker I could hear was Phil Valentine a local talk show host and writer. His big line was "if you voted for the bailout, get the hell out!"
 
On the Bill O'Rielly show tonight they ran a clip on how one pinhead CNN reporter just cut off one of the Tea Partyers she had asked a question of, you can run the clip from http://www.foxnation.com/ . The New York Times totally ignored all of the big government big spending protests. The vicious NBC allowed their reporters to curse and insult their fellow Americans just because they didn't agree with them. This is not the way a legitimate and fair news organization should work.
 
No conservative should be watching CBS, NBC, CNN, ABC or MSNBC because of the corrupt bias way they report the news always favoring the far left. If you disagree with any of their far left views they will attack you, insult you and just cut you off like the CNN reporter did. Because they are the liberal elite and they know more than any conservative knows, plus they like to make fun of Christians and portray them as stupid and backward. One more reason for hating the position of the dems.
 
Go out to a tea party if you can and soak up the desire for a more efficient, smaller and honest government.

Like the other person who posted, I have never, ever been to a rally or protest before.  There were a few cops there on horses and everyone was smiling.  Indeed, I must say I felt like I was among friends.

I see your local liberals are as retarded and math-incompetent as ours.  At least one of them tied the protests to spending and not just taxes as 99% of them seem to be doing.  The "Bush's Fault" idiots made an appearance as well, but I'll take $1 trillion in deficit spending over $10 or 11 trillion any day.

I'm very happy to see and hear about so many protests today! Like others have mentioned, none of this has had much coverage on the news.

Great pics/video, everyone! A Crazy Con, lucky you being on the Riverwalk on a beautiful day like today! I have a business in Jesup, so I love Savannah. I don't have any decent pics, or video, I went to the massive behemoth in ATL. It was crowded for 5 blocks around. They were saying that there were 15-20,000 ppl there, but I think it was way, way more. People were packed in like sardines! We had to walk forever, and my hubby has a bad back, so we couldn't get close to the action. I tried walking around, but you couldn't get far. I heard most of it, but I wish I had of went to the one closer to my house, or even drove over to the one in Savannah, just so we could sit down occasionally or even mingle. Don't get me wrong, the excitement level there was awesome. The thing is though, we have got to make sure this isn't a one off thing. It has to just grow and grow. Otherwise the point will be moot. Oh, BTW, there were a good many folks of color at the one in ATL, and from what I could hear ppl saying, Democrats, too. And ZERO fighting or violence, that I saw or heard about. Try that, libs, with that many ppl in downtown ATL, never would happen! Conservatives Rawk!

The liberturds are claiming these rallies are fake.

If so, then it comes from personal experience in that rallies for "the messiah" are fake as well.

Sink-wife told me that she heard somewhere that someone was planning an even BIGGER TEA party on July 4th.

The turn out for these rallies was pretty good considering that not much planning went into them - the true grassroots part about it.

What is needed is a honest to god full blown tax revolution with the kickoff day scheduled for JULY 4 and running through the end of the year.

I'm sure "the messiah" was being kept appraised of TEA party activities through his spy agency [department of homeland security].  I'm also sure that he really doesn't give a $hit that the people are up in arms.

I know.... I look like a hobbit :-). I am 5'3" and I have a slight heel on. I didn't think he was taller than 6'3" or so, but maybe he is. It sorta looks that way.
