After two days of questioning from the DA and the defense, I was NOT seated for a murder trial
 I got my jury summons 3 weeks ago, made sub plans for an entire week, and looked forward to serving on a jury.

Was chosen for a jury pannel, endured TWO LONG days of questions and at 4 pm was dismissed along with 29 others.

it seems like they kept all people of color and NO professionals

they kept people that were unemployeed and bar owners and a bailbonds lady

strange choices by far...

I am a bit irritated being dismissed after two long days and I really wanted to serve...I am a government learning junkie and the process is fascinating.

It is a murder trial and there is no body... I guess I will have to watch the news to see how it plays out

AND

I have to go back to work tomorrow...sigh...

I would say it was probably the insane look in her eyes as she pretended to be normal.  Or the spazmotic outbursts of "Bush is a murderer too!".  Courts try to weed out the socially retarded in jury pools.

I've been on two juries. 

One civil case in Sacramento CA

One criminal case in Columbus OH

I enjoyed it both times.

During jury seating she was asked if she would support the death penalty, if warranted.  She responded no, but she would support Chimpeachment.  She was dismissed because no one knew what the hell she was talking about.

Yeah...God forbid you have to put in your 180 6 1/2 hour days and I have no doubt that is all the time you spend.

You learned you're too incompetent to serve as a juror in a murder trial.  Take it and run with that.

My guess is she was rejected by the prosecution because they detected she determines guilt or innocence based upon the social circumstances of the individual rather than the facts of the case.

Having just finished up a trial, you are absolutely right.
During the, and DUmmies read this carefully, jury SELECTION process, they weed out dingbats like you. Trust me, there were enough of them on my panel.
