ok more car trouble - at least as I pulling in driveway - is there a car trouble forum

I circle around to back in - as I made the circle - the engine check light came on (normally it is on all the time but has been off for three days (cooler weather it sometimes goes off) - been that way almost since the beginning) - then engine died and oil light comes on - tried to start it - makes some effort and no I can not describe exactly -

I was able to push most of the car off the road and into the driveway - just the front end is on the cul-de-sac - thank god it is not a main road

I am thinking it needs oil or something right away -

I have AAA but have no idea where to take it to fix it or what to do

It has been having little troubles now for six months - I have ask it to please wait until I was moved - I am now moved - I figure I would get another car

1. There is one head light out now
2. The oil leaks from a stripped screw or gasket
3. the car failed to start about two months ago and called AAA and he jiggled the key and it started
4. tires need balancing
5. one tail light out
6. Engine check light is on most of the time

So I am lucky it died at home since I had just gotten off the highway.

No primitives have shown up to empathize with the designing primitive yet, but perhaps that's because this is in the wrong forum on Skins's island.

In case the designing primitive lurks, yes, there is an automotive forum on Skins's island, which would be a better place for this post.

It has been having little troubles now for six months - I have ask it to please wait until I was moved - I am now moved - I figure I would get another car

1. There is one head light out now [UM Fix the headlight?]
2. The oil leaks from a stripped screw or gasket [change gasket?]
3. the car failed to start about two months ago and called AAA and he jiggled the key and it started.... [is this a sexual refernce?]
4. tires need balancing [balance the tires then!]
5. one tail light out  [replace that bulb then]
6. Engine check light is on most of the time [go to service station have it checked.]

So I am lucky it died at home since I had just gotten off the highway. [you are lucky you remembered the way home doorknob!]

Having a headlight and/or tail light out would get you a ticket around here.

Guess this moron never heard of regualr maintenance on a car?  And having a headlight ot tail-light out is a major deal?  Gimme a break!

Gee, notices the oil leak...maybe checking the oil on occasion would be a good idea!
