Hey folks.
My id is cirej2000, I'm a current user at rightnation and realized that some of the old timers from there reside here. So I thought I'd swing by to check stuff out and chit-chat with some more pro-americans.
I left the Democrat Party about Feb 2001, when I got tired of all the vitriol and phony support of the troops I encountered from all of my Democrat friends and the lefties I knew in the Bay Area. So the first chance I had to register, I changed to an Independent. Even in my most liberal days, I was never anti-Christian and I was always pro-military.
My mom, never gave me chance when I was a kid to use my race as an excuse for anything. Even when I might have been treated unfairly by a prejudiced teacher or coach. And even though I went through my period of the black empowerment mentality, I just never fully strayed away from the foundations that my mom instilled in me.
Anyways, I'm pretty much a conservative to the right. Though, after the last 8 years, I'm beginning to hate labels. I believe in the Constitution and thus smaller government and I believe that folks need to be able to take a shot on their own in life and succeed and fail on their own merits. But I also think that instilling in our kids the sense of fair play and helping each other out is key also.
Well, I'm tired of writing about myself...that's enough, let's play ball.
