It's going to be a lot of fun, isn't it?
This is one of those rare times I wished I lived in a more-populated area, and an area with primitives.
But as it is, we'll probably just have a near-100% turnout of the local citizenry, which is not a large number. No excitement, pretty humdrum, but one has to do what one has to do.
I'm actually quite looking forward to it. I'm in Austin and Gov. Perry is speaking at ours. However, Glenn Beck is going to be at the Alamo in San Antonio just down Interstate 35 so we may be losing some partiers to there.
What is unique about these tea parties - and something the MSM is missing - is that most of these tea parties are not being planned by "professional" demonstrators - they are being planned by people who are just so angry about what is going on.
There is one concept liberals talk about that just blows my mind - paying more taxes. They seem to be fine with paying more taxes; that is, if they work and earn money. My goal my entire working life has been to pay as little in taxes as possible. It has nothing to do with being selfish - it has to do with self-preservation.
