The Republicans make me sad. Why are they so hateful?
I have one high school classmate and one ex co-worker on my Facebook account that seem so angry that they are considered the underdogs right now. What IS it with them? Nobody is in-your-face to them as many of them were to us! Why are they so angry all of the time? What are they so threatened about!? Did they really get what they wanted under Bush? I just don't understand the hatred. It makes me so depressed. These 2 on FB make me want to delete them but it's also good to hear what the other side is thinking and doing. It will never end will it?

Anyhow, I just had to get that off my chest. I thank Frenchie Cat for the wonderful pictures to make me go to bed feeling so proud, though! Thanks so much you guys and your pics.

1. They got what they wanted under Bush. They just didn't get _enough_ of it,
and therein lies the problem: selfishness. Their piece of the pie won't be big enough until they can dictate our morality, what morality our children are taught, who we can/can't marry, whether we are "deserving" of a living wage and/or health care, etc.

existence!

The live to hate.

The fact that our President is a self made Black man doesn't help.
They really can't stand that...cause hell, even Black folks are more successful

7. You touched on a simple point that is much bigger than you think.
Some white people are finally discovering that, no..., no, they are not "better" than other peoples. That doesn't sit well with them. They are so used to the privilege of believing that they deserve more than other peoples because they are "better:" than other peoples. They would deny this, because they love spouting nonsense about "all men are created equal" but they don't really believe that. They don't believe we should sit down with other people as "equal" partners. Obama continually reinforces the idea that Americans are part of the human family around the globe, not above and beyond. This is what they can't stand and this is why they feel like they are "losing America."

8. Being angry is addictive
Raging and spewing and blaming is the heroine high equivalent of the emotions. They're addicted to it and so they keep it going by reacting to every little perceived slight. It does't matter to them that they're wrong. They're too busy pursuing the rage high.

oh the irony.

16. If someone's life is unhappy, then there must be someone to blame,
and the conservative and Christian fundamentalist record tilts toward blaming:

liberals
secular humanists
the liberal media
liberal college professors
rock'n'roll
decadent Hollywood
minorities
immigrants from the "wrong" countries
the "Democrat" party
community organizers
Planned Parenthood

--and so forth.

Redwingers are unhappy so it must be someone's fault, and if they can't figure out what the problem is or who to blame, Limbaugh and Coulter will point a finger at one or another liberal in one or another of those groups.

Republican nutbags figure if you burn the village witch, you rid the village of bad energy, when in fact THEY are the source of the bad energy and the witch is likely innocent.

You forgot Hippies DUmmie.  :hammer:

Lie!

My wife does FaceBook, I don't.  She has a college friend who's a moonbat who's constantly pushing her craziness and can't keep her political opinion to herself.  My wife did tell me a couple of weeks ago she joined some conservative group, and this moonbat felt compelled to comment about her doing that.  She just decided not to respond to her.

My experience is that libs are the one's who can't seem to keep their opinions to themselves when in various settings.

Ruh Roh!  I wonder if Indiana Dem is one of my old classmates and FB friends.

I'm from Indiana (live in Texas now) and am on Facebook and most of my friends are old classmates from high school.  Many of them are democrats.  One of my old classmates and friends actually worked on the Obama campaign and worked in the Clinton administration.

I do often post things about Barack Obama.  Oh well.  That would be just too coincidental.

Oh my.

I am rendered speechless, just speechless.

Maybe it's just me, but surely I can't be the only person in the whole unisverse who has never had anything but pleasant experiences with Republicans, and who has rarely, rarely, rarely, had even mildly pleasant experiences with Democrats.

Surely I can't be the only one.

Liberals want this country to become a 3rd world hellhole. Obama argued at the Supreme Court for the power to ban books and films he thinks are too political with a 5 year jail sentenced tacked on. They want to shut down talk radio and give the power to shut down websites they do not like. The President is also claiming the power to nationalize entire industries, control the census and is giving billions in tax funds to his cronies in ACORN to steal elections, creating a domestic brown shirt army, banning guns and ammo, demonizing any and all opponents, kowtowing and bowing to Muslim terrorists while dissing our allies.......... and he is an economic moron who is spending trillions in fiat money trying to reinflate the credit bubble created by government and the Federal Reserve....

Gee, What exactly are conservatives so upset about?.... I don't know I guess we thought wse lived in a free country and not Venezuela. Maybe thats it.
