Wednesday...wow or woe?
« on: April 08, 2009, 11:18:26 AM »
Mixed bag here today...the sun is out, but it's not very warm...hovering around 50.   Youngest has a scrimmage tonight.  In the process of making pizzas (dough is rising).  Other than that, quiet day in store.

Early to bed, early to rise today so I'm hanging out online until I have to get ready for work.  Yay, me.  At least the weather will warm up this week.  I was not happy about freezing weather in April.

Think I lost my smallest plants last night...  :censored:

Will have to start over with the vegetables again if that's the case, but this time I'll just plant them directly in the garden.  This planter/transfer crap is for the birds.

Training this morning, going insane this afternoon.  That is all.

Weather's colder and we got rain last night with roughly 3-4" of SNOW above 4000 ft. Supposed to nice this weekend..............can't wait.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Powerball's at $143 Million.  I put in my $2 bid for some economic stimulus.

Other that that, the prospective job market is downright depressing.  The family and I are looking at an"extended caming trip" in National forest land nearby.

Today's been surprisingly a good day.

First the receptionist had to take like a two hour lunch break (she needed to go up to school and do some sort of extra credit).  Anywho, so I got a ton done on my PowerPoint that's due tomorrow morning.  Then I managed to get all my work done.  I completed up the PowerPoint, and I'm really pleased with it.

Then I found out that both my parents know this guy that's doing the interviewing for this job that I want.  So hopefully that'll at least get me an interview.  :)

And I made that black-eyed pea sausage jambalaya last night and it's even better on the second day.  Dinner's delicious.
