10. As "evil" as the North Koreans are supposed to be...
   

they are no where near as horribly evil as the actual real world hub of the "axis of evil", the USA.

We are the number one terrorist nation in the world, bar none.

There is no disputing this hard, cold, tragic fact.

The USA has perpetrated more death by genocide and war crimes than any other nation, possibly ever in history.

We have murdered tens of thousands of innocents in a single day and rationalized and even bragged about it.

At least twice!

We nearly wiped out a whole continent of indigenous people to steal and exploit their land and resources.

At one time we stole about half of Mexico! Really! Talk about karma...

We made the "Louisiana Purchase" from a willing seller (France) without legitimate title.

Same with "buying" Alaska from the Russians.

We also stole Hawaii from the Hawaiians.

We "liberated" the Philippines from the Spanish and then occupied and exploited them ruthlessly until the Japanese ran us out.

We are still in Guam and Saipan ruthlessly exploiting their labor.

Our relations with Cuba were very exploitive from the Spanish-American war until Fidel Castro threw us out about 60 years later.

We made war on the small country of Panama to capture our own creation, Manuel Noriega, killing hundreds, or thousands, of innocent people. We tried and convicted Noriega and sentenced him to prison and then when he had served his sentence they refuse to release him. basically keeping him kidnapped. The "snatch" of Noriega in Panama by our military was called, "Just Cause", what hypocrisy!

We kidnap and torture innocent people.

North Korea apparently also has kidnapped innocent people but I haven't heard about the North Koreans torturing them.

The list goes on and on of our inhumanity and cruelty.

All of these malicious deeds are done in our name, of course...

We could, and should be doing good in the world instead of destroying it and the lives of so many innocents and calling that, "collateral damage".

I love my country, the USA, but I am not willing to delude myself, or anyone else, about who we really are now and our own too often despicable history.


And precious few are calling them out


Looks like someone's had Howard Zinn beaten into them by a Spike Lee / Sean Penn three-way.

If it didn't hit all of their dumbass talking points, it would be infuriating.

Unlike this Waste of skin ,I have seem what its like inside the N.Korean side of the DMZ and its not all that. What I saw was their guards freezing thier asses off because their Dear Leader didn't put windows in the guard towers. They only ahd the long over coats they wore to stay warm and this was back in 1987. We had everything we could need including heaters . Then there is that town they build only for propaganda purposes. No one lives there but all he lights go on at hing and stay on till sunrise. The only living people I saw in that town was the NK army troops and a truck that stopped there once to make sure no one was using it. Yeah  North Korea is such a PAradise people are flocking to the Chinese border to get OUT!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason they don't go South is because of all the damn mine fields and the guard towers and NK troops waiting for them.

He is a Canadian. You can enter from either Russia or China. The country is not at all how it is described on Fox News, CNN and the New York Times. While the streets are not made of gold or anything, it is a lot better off than many other poor countries (like in Sub-Saharan Africa).

The main reason we are told that it is so evil is because the Neocons and other imperialists want to take over North Korea's territory, so that they can place more US military bases along the border of China and Russia (part of the encirclement strategy). China and Russia realize this, which is why they did not allow Bush to invade.

Finally, it was not the government of North Korea who invaded Iraq and murdered 1.4 million people and displaced millions more. That was the US government.
