I get that they are disconneted from reality. I do, really. I don't understand it, but I get it. What I don't get, is all the contradictions. How do you go through life railing about one thing one day, livid, and the next, oh, I just love, love, love it? Even if you are crazily wrong, don't you have a firm stance on that wrongness? Of course we all change our minds about some small things, daily, we grow, we learn, but we have a base, a set of morals and principles written in stone, no doubt about them. Or at least that is how I am. No, I don't have an open mind, nor do I want one. That's not to say if you present me with a good arguement where I am wrong, show me facts to back it up, that I might slightly alter my stances on small things, but not the biggies. No way, no how. If what those people are is growth or progress or enlightenment, I'd had rather stay the small, in the dark, closed minded INDIVIDUAL that I am.
