Week went by WAY too fast.  Now just the weekend and back to work (backshift with the beeper) on Monday.

Why couldn't I have been born independently wealthy instead of a good-looking well-hung genius?

16 years ago today, I spent the day at my in-laws, timing contractions...went to the hospital about 7 in the evening, and after about 12 more hours of hard labor, welcomed my first baby to the world.

We are having a party for her tonight...she invited 4 of her friends to go to a japanese steakhouse, and then they will come back here for a while. I'm picking her and 2 of the friends up from school, then the other two will stay the night (they all dance together, so it works out well for getting up and getting to dance in the morning).
 I'm taking her for her driver's test on Monday. :beer:

Need to finish straightening up a couple things here, and wrap some presents, plus fold the mountain of laundry that is waiting in my room.

I work until 10 PM.  :banghead:

I have the weekend off. I don't work many weekends anymore, but that, like everything else, is subject to change.

Very high winds here last night. I still have sand in my eyes.

High of 70 today.

Dealing at the poker room toinght.  So far the tips haven't been too horrible.  Made $30 for a two-hour tournament last night, plus my regular wage.

Also found out that the Legion gives the dealers a free "beverage" of choice once off the clock...woot!

Woot! I love getting Fridays off from work.  Got my paycheck, got my employee discount from AT & T (some grocery chains do business with other companies by allowing us employees to get exclusive discounts... 14% off my monthly bill!  :cheersmate: ).   

Now, I have a wonderfully unhealthy lunch from the cafeteria.  :p

I'm not feeling well. I have a headache and I can't for the life of me warm up. I thought I was just having sinus issues due to all the wind we had the last couple of days but now I'm wondering if I'm coming down with something else.

I feel really worn down. :bawl:

LOL!

My wife came home from work after getting 2 hours of sleep last night and drank a big glass of Sangrea with her pizza and was slurring her speech and fell asleep in her chair. :rofl:

I half carried/half guided her into the bedroom and tucked her in half an hour ago.

She doesn't drink that much these days and the wine on top of the lack o' sleep just knocked her on her arse! :-)
