I'm glad this stupid day is over.  Should have known it would get off to a bad start when I was woken up by the UPS guy at 9am.  Work was busy and it sucked.  I don't know how we stay so damn busy in this horrible economy.

Darlin' after the day I had at work, I'd jump right in! :-)

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right. Idiots in between. God help me......

I promise to be good.  :innocent:

*hugs*  :(  Sounds a lot like my day.  Despite what's being fed to us on the news, people are STILL spending plenty of money on non-essentials... fancy desserts and pastries, beer and wine (oh wait, those two ARE essentials  :uhsure:  ), porterhouse steaks, filet mignons, etc ( porterhouse steaks were BIG sellers today at work)

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Got a new foreclosure and went to see it today.....$250,000 house....outside of a bunch of personal stuff, the house isn't too bad. Needs a new roof, may have some stucco damage and has a drainage problem. 3 br's, 2.5 baths, hardwoods, tile and berber carpet, 2420 sqft ranch.

I think all the problems are finally worked out on the big house and we will close next week....the lender yanked the loan from the private investing company and put it with another company after I said it either closes by the 3pm on the 3rd (it was to close on the 1st) or I'd put the buyer with a lender who could guarantee it would close on the 1st. The seller is supposed to close on their new house on the 3rd. Lender did some major faux pas and thought he could get away with it. NOT!! :hammer:

We went this evening to Lowe's and Home Depot for some azaleas, rose bushes, monkey grass and something with little yellow flowers on it...we're going to try to get everything planted tomorrow in between rain squalls. We had another tree come down during this afternoon's storm. That's 2 pine trees down that we didn't have to pay a bloody fortune to a tree cutter to take them down. Last one was $75 to cut up and move into the woods, this one fell at the edge of the woods....just needs to be cut up and it's skinnier. The weather is supposed to get really bad on Saturday...the stuff that's in the midwest now. Rain more on Sunday and Sunday night it's supposed to be in the low 30's...weird weather!
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

That's my plan tonight...a hot soak and early slumber.  Maybe a hot chocolate with whipped cream(spiked with cognac) too.  I had that kind of day.

Just gave me an idea for a new thread.  I will allow you to be my muse, provided you show the bikini pic at some point in the future.  That would inspire any male with a pulse.

This week is going by WAY too damn fast.  How come they never zip along like this when I'm working?

28 degrees, going to 51.  Sunny this morning but the clouds and rain will be moving in this evening into tonight.

Did my first "read" day of work at the cardroom as poker dealer.  Can't complain.  6 hours of work, made some decent tips, and got paid back for my licensing fee.  And before you say, "playing cards isn't work!", YOU shuffle cards for six hours and see how your wrists feel.  Guaranteed to kill any desire for masturbation, male or female.

Doing a bit more yardwork/garden prep before heading in to work couple of hours again tonight.

What's in YOUR world?

A gig as a poker dealer sounds fun!

It's not bad.  Tips aren't horrible.  It's beer and gas money, with a night out thrown in once in a while.

However, hands can get sore as hell after shuffling cards a certain way for 5-6 hours straight.  Never thought it would be, but whatever.

Hand cramps are painful, maybe you will get used to shuffling and the pain will lesson.
