Kings on NBC
« on: March 24, 2009, 10:02:59 PM »
Has anyone seen the new show Kings on NBC?  It is a modern day story like that of King David in the Bible.  It star Ian McShane (who I would watch on the toilet for 2 hours and probably pay for the privilege of doing so).  I freaking love this show!!!!

Watched part of it. Too much teenybopper crap.

Ian McShane was great in "Sexy Beast".

I don't understand the teenybopper comment though.  I mean there has to be some sort of romance or desire for a woman in there somewhere doesn't there?

I loooooooove this show!!  Thought I was the only one watching it :)  lol  It's not teenybopper at all.  That's what the CW or the WB or whatever the fudge they're calling it these days is for.  haha  :)  It does have some predictable fairy tale-ish elements to it, but I'm enjoying it thus far :)

Ian McShane rocks!

Sorry, but I caught 15 minutes of this show, and IMHO I wasted about 14 minutes of that time.

You want good Ian McShane?  Deadwood is on DVD.

I hate it when they stick in a "pretty boy" for female interest (yes I know, guys get that on "our" side) kinda like the dork in that vampire movie. I'll just stick with boring/diden't like it.

I watched it. I'll have to give it a couple of episodes. It was kinda predictable.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I confess I haven't seen the show. I do my best to avoid prime time TV, although Mrs. E holds her .38 to my head in order to watch House. Oh, and that Jack Bauer guy on Monday nights.

And if you're asking me if a woman has to have romance in her heart to sleep with a guy, I can tell you unequivocally the answer is a resounding NO.  :evillaugh:
