Hussien's speech last night...scariest thing I've heard in years.

Maybe that is the speech that a DUmmie posted, the one he made at the DNC four years ago, and it put stars in DUmmies' eyes...and the first line or two was PURE socialism...and they were outraged to be told so 

If you could find that speech, it would be a great little jewel to have.

that's the speech he made at the 2004 DNC.  I was unsure of which sermon by The BarackStar! she was referring to, as well.

Nah, that wasn't the same speech posted by the moonbat eons ago...methinks it was the speech he made after becoming Senator.

I've never heard this one before. He's likening himself to Lincoln, and it looks like a bunch of biographical BS. Who cares?

BTW, he said the other  night that his mother was a single, teenage mother. I noticed in this speech he mentions that his father "met" his mother, and it is all romanticized...no mention of his father being a deadbeat...and he might not have been, but he sure alluded to that the other night...now playing the martyr who rose above it all.

I'm still not sure which speech you are referring to.  I posted a link to his 2004 DNC keynote in response to lauri's comment.  there is not doubt whatsoever that this is that speech.

I'm still not sure which speech you are referring to.  I posted a link to his 2004 DNC keynote in response to lauri's comment.  there is not doubt whatsoever that this is that speech.

It very well could be. I admittedly didn't read the whole speech that was posted here. Maybe the DUmmie didn't post all of B.O.'s blather about  himself, and just posted his socialistic vision of America.

Here's a review from 2006. This really stood out:

Bill Clinton allowed his personal charisma to lead people to infer political beliefs that he didn't hold, or didn't hold faithfully. His political brilliance was in accepting with charm the projections people put on him. Barack Obama seems to have studied Bill Clinton's model — so it's somehow fitting that he's competing against Clinton's wife for the Democratic presidential nomination.

There are some differences, though. Obama seems to have a more orderly personal life than Bill Clinton. That might mean that Obama holds some beliefs deeply enough to imply a consistent philosophy, but it's hard to tell from his chameleonic public persona.


But, often, when he moves from theoretical discussions to specific examples drawn from his time in the Illinois legislature or the U.S. Senate, he abandons his common-sense wisdom to take contradictory actions for partisan or downright stupid reasons. He squares this with another rhetorical trick: acknowledging the inconsistency. He admits the contradiction and moves on without further explanation.
