In Obama's absence, Biden delights in bashing boss
« on: March 23, 2009, 12:31:33 PM »
Quote
WASHINGTON – With President Barack Obama absent, Vice President Joe Biden poked fun at his boss' do-no-wrong reputation during an annual white-tie gathering of journalists and government officials.
Obama was the first president in decades not to attend the Gridiron Club dinner during his first year in office. He spent the weekend at Camp David with his family, skipping the Saturday night event because he was busy preparing for Easter, Biden said.
"He thinks it's about him," Biden said of the holiday.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Republican speaker at the dinner, had another explanation for the media and politicians assembled at a downtown Washington ballroom for the festivities.
"He's just not that into you," Schwarzenegger said, referring to the book and movie with that title.

Two things:
1. We now have a person in the oval office that needs to take time off to prepare for a Holiday? :banghead:
2. Hey Joe, 0Bama only thinks Easter is about him, because of the worship he has received from the media and his sycophants.

Perhaps he's making an Easter display for his desk.

Considering he's blowing off the Gridiron Club for a holiday that doesn't happen for another three weeks...pretty much all you need to know right there about both of these idiots.

Where are all those complaints about vacations....you know the ones that filled the MSM for weeks during the previous administration?

I cannot fault him too much...I hate going to functions when I could be spending time with my family...I think maybe he is just trying to manage the family vs the job.  I don't fault the guy for not going...He has young kids...I take time off from my job to spend time with my kids...they are on spring break this week and I am taking Thursday and Friday off.  No one faults me for doing that.  I am president of my world!!!
