I had to look this one up.

This is that one guy who was on that one television show.

By any chance, is he still among us, the living?

That was a very long time, this television show that starred this particular guy.

Yes, he's on some TV show as a lawyer now.  I hear the show is popular, but I've never seen it.  And he does commercials for this site.

Okay, so if this guy's still around, it must be the guy with the pointed ears who's dead then, right?

When I was in college, I once saw one of those coffee-table-sized books of photographs of this television show.  I skimmed through it, and the photographs were kind of faded, kind of pastel, like "color" television of the late 1960s.

I recall reading it had a black woman and a middle-aged guy.

I thought it was a pretty stupid idea for a television show, but apparently it was popular.

DeForest Kelly (Dr. McCoy) and James Doohan (Scotty) are among the breathing disabled and a whole bunch of red shirts, no doubt.  But Shatner is still going strong, he's like unstoppable.

Not sure what Leonard Nimoy (Pointy Ears/Tolkien elf rip-off/Spock) is doing these days.  First he wrote a book loudly proclaiming he wasn't Spock (which inspired Jon Pertwee (the third Doctor) to write a book loudly proclaiming I Am The Doctor) and then he wrote a book loudly proclaiming Hey!  Wait!  Maybe I am Spock After All If There is Still A Paycheck In It. Then he played Ambassador Spock on The Next Generation and then he pretty much disappeared as far as I know.  Probably went back to the Genesis Planet to be reborn.

Shatner's doing some sort of talk show now - can't remember the name.

He talks one-on-one with the celebrity-du-jour and attempts to get very deep very fast.

When he interviewed Jon Voigt, Jon just ignored those lame attempts. It was actually kinda funny. And Shatner interviewed Valerie Bertinelli, the big-boobed brunette from some sort of seventies TV show. She wouldn't shut up long enough for Shatner to ask one of his profound questions.

Mrs. E makes me watch goofy shit on the TV sometimes.  :shucks:
