They can't take away the bonuses. It illegal. 1st, amendment, or second amendment, or one of the amendments. These people are so blatantly ignorant, and completely out of touch with the rest of the country, it is quite unbelievable.

People are living in the streets, lost their jobs, lost their homes and life savings, and all the repukes (and talking tv bubble-heads) can talk about is whether it is fair or unfair to take our ****ing money, millions of it, off millionaires who stole it.

This country will not recover until they are defeated. It is as simple as that.

6. Actually, spell-check is quite satisfied with 'wining'
but if DU ever puts in a syntax-checker or punctuation-checker in place, a lot of people are gonna be S.O.L.

9. has it ever occured to you that perhaps the OP has a learning disability?
I know people with Masters and PHD's that have trouble spelling. Being a competent speller has nothing to do with ignorance. However, being a nit-picker about it......

I'm sorry, notadmblnd made me laugh.

The primitives can be anal at times.

To put it mildly.

So, let's see if I got this right. For the past 8 years, they were whining and moaning about how Bush supposedly destroyed the Constitution and turned this country into a fascist, police state, when none of that was true. However, when a definite, provable, and blatant case of violating the Constitution occurs such as this bonus confiscation nonsense, they defend it because it's their guys doing it for "the greater good" or some other lame excuse. And to top it off, they aren't even bothered by how about half of that stimulus money ended up going to foreign banks anyway.

I wonder if these same folks are demanding that union employees of bankrupt companies, states and school districts be denied contractual yearly raises or those that occur once a specified time of service has been reached?

Probably not.

My pat answer to all those who have engaged me on this "bonus" subject:

"I don't care how much they got as long as it's in private hands and the government no longer has it."

The lady cashier up at the Kwiky-Mart, our token neighborhood liberal, almost cried.

I wonder how many of these AIG bonus recipients are Dems.

I would actually say a lot of them.  They're smack in blue country.  They know what side of their bread is buttered.  They donated with an eye toward being in bed with power, not their principles.

All the rich people that the DUmmies loathe so deeply, are all Demo shills.  But, you could never convince them of that, just like they think the MSM are in bed with the republicans.

Let me add this:
