Thought I'd start my first thread.


Since no one started a Friday thread, here it is.



Gotta go over in about an hour and let the Red Cross stick a garden hose in my arm and siphon off a pint. It will be pint 30 for me, a couple more and I get my 4 gallon pin.

They do a drive here at work every 60 days or so and the bosses encourage employees to donate. Beats working. 


The worst part is when they plop the full bag down on the table up against your leg. The Bloodmobile is worse, there's very little room so they sit it in your lap.

It's warm.

On paper at least.

Happy Spring, First Day Of.

Had a great night.  Wish I had gotten a little more sleep but today actually started pretty nice.  Usually I feel like a newly arisen zombie in the mornings, staggering around and moaning "coffee... COFFEE!" Feeling pretty good today.

Gonna run into the big city today and hit Barnes and Noble for some books and some DVD's. Maybe pick up a box of bagels from Einsteins.

Just got back from giving blood, quickest I've ever gone through the process, start to finish, less than an hour.


Had my orange juice and cookies and am feeling fi.....

It's going to be another beautiful day outside.  

I switched out purses this morning and forgot to bring the keys to my desk with me.   :thatsright:   Thankfully my boss has extras.  I even looked in my old purse and thought "is there anything else I need?" and grabbed a pen, yet still forgot my office keys.  

Oh well.  

And the meet up is tonight!   :hyper:

First day of Spring...it's already 70 and will be 85 today.

I'm headed over the mountain to Las Vegas. I have a major certification exam to take, a promotion at work will follow. (with a raise)

The last two days at work have been hell, a couple people are passing around really bad colds which is making us short handed. Business is really good and sales are record breaking. Highest they have been in 7 years....  For some reason customers like me.  :-)

I hope I pass this test.

I can see my day is getting off to a lovely start.  I have a leak somewhere in my bathroom, and a floor full of water.  It doesn't help that I slipped and fell in it.

A big day here. My oldest daughter (first grade) opens as the star (well, she's in the chorous, but she DOES have three lines!) of "Annie." She's in six shows over two weekends. Tickets cost $8 (WTF!!!!!).

PM me for show times/directions!!!!

six shows, $8 per tickets, 3 tickets per show. Cha-ching. That's ok. We didn't REALLY need to eat this week.

Woot! Got my hair done.  I had about 5 inches cut off (but still below the shoulders) with a part to the side and highlights in two shades of blonde.  I'll try to take my pic and post it sometime this weekend. :-)  Also, I paid to be abused, by having my eyebrows waxed.  J/K It actually wasn't that bad.  My eyes didn't actually tear over this time.  :lmao:

Picked up lunch and a paycheck, stopped at the bank, and now I'm home.

I think a nap is in order.  I rarely get weekends off, so I'm taking this day to REST!  :cheersmate:

Right?!  I know a few people around here have seen it, I've heard good things and bad.  Some friends of mine went to see it when it came out and loved it!!  Have you seen previews for Adventureland?  Now that looks funny.
