Home from work.  Got my hair cut/highlight appointment scheduled for later this evening.  I'll post the results when I can. ;)

Got good news from a friend today.  The pop group Gym Class Heroes is coming to perform at my college in April. :hyper: And I thought this college wasn't big enough/good enough for a concert by a major recording artist. :p I might have to go, to make up for missing out on Brad Paisley performing at Georgia Southern.  :cheersmate:

Well.....hell hath no fury like a pissed off Redhead... :uhsure:

Been working on a deal to sell one of my listings....we finally were under contract, home inspection occurred, we reached an agreement on that. Buyer wanted to put up an FHA required safety railing prior to appraisal.

Seller said ok, but wanted a "hold harmless" letter to cover sellers, myself and my company, and the buyers agent and her company.

I'm working on a report this morning, and the buyer's agent broker calls me....and proceeds to jump on me with spikes....tells me my seller has to build the fence (along with some other stuff) and tells me that I LIED about the price of the house and stiffed his agent on cooperative commission!!!!

SAY WHAT?!!!!

I tell him that first of all I did not lie about anything, we raised the price PRIOR to his agent submitting an offer (5 days!!!) and that I reduced the amount of coop commission I would pay 3 days before we received an offer.
I said we will have to go back to negotiations then....

(Hello....I WORK for the seller!! She says raise, I say how much....she cuts commission, I cut how much I will pay another agent.)

(this is the extremely short version of the conversation!)

It progresses to me asking if he's read the contract and he says it's in front of him....I suggested he read it.  ::)

He then says...."You need to stepback!"

(I need to what?!!! Oh you soooooo should not have said that to me!!! particularly after you have just accused me of unethical behavior!!)

My response...."Just who do you think you are talking to? Cause you aren't going to talk to me that way!!"

He then says...."your seller is GOING to do xxxx and xxxx and xxx and this conversation is over!!"

and hangs up on me!!!

The p***k then calls my broker and goes off on her.

Upshot is that I and my seller end up in my broker's office trying to figure out the next steps...we call him, and the chicken shit says he doesn't have time to talk to us.

The buyer's agent then calls .....and she has no idea what this jerk has said to me....and she's apologizing all over the place and said he was wrong (duh!) and could we somehow work it out.

My seller is doing the stuff and raising the price 5k....we'll see what happens. Buyers' are still getting a heck of a deal on the house....plus my seller is paying $5400 in buyer's closing costs!!!

I'm still extremely pissed in case no one can tell......

My secretaries said the guy should have known better than to make me mad.

I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.....but NO ONE is going to accuse me of being unethical or lying about the price of a house or commission. ( I had even told the agent that if she could make this deal work, that I would split the commission 50/50 instead of 60/40) I don't lie....it's too complicated and hard to remember!!

thanks for letting me vent.....

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Once I sent a nice rantful email about work to a friend.

Then sent another saying "oops the redhead must have slipped through" and he said "no it more like busted through."   :-)

Wrapped up the aircraft yesterday. It was the one I started on when I started work. It was almost done. Got our new aircraft in today and began disassembly. These Apaches are quite the aircraft. I'd LOVE to go into detail on their equipment, but suffice it to say, it's state of the art. ;) There's some really cool stuff on these attack helicopters   :-)

I rarely get really mad.  I get pissy and will rant, but then it's gone.  The last time I was really mad was when I quit as manager at the coffee shop.  One of my employees said I had lasers coming out of my eyes.

Well, I should have known better than to go to one of those chain store salons (Ulta).  Nothing but lazy, gossiping stylists who are too busy chatting with the current customer to realize they have one waiting on them.  I had an appointment for 6:30, and the bitch wasn't even done with the other customer when I chose to leave at 7:15. :banghead:  Locally-owned salons are so much better, even if you might have to pay more.

Well, that's completely different than my experience.  I've been getting my hair done at Ulta since I was 15, and with the same stylist for the last 7 or 8 years.

This is the salon I WOULD be using, if I were still in Atlanta.

Jolie Amis

They might be local, but their prices are no higher than Ulta, at least for the services I need (hair cut and highlights).   I love the ladies at this salon.  They know how to deal with hair like mine (monstrously thick hair... it's some kind of genetic mutation, since everyone else in my family has thin hair). and layer it just right to make it easier for me to handle.

As for Ulta, I've been to one before to get my hair cut.  It was a good experience, only because the stylist (who's gone now :( ) was focused more on her work and making sure she got my hair exactly how I wanted it than chatting about the latest celebrity shenanigans.

but tonight was just... UGH! I contacted the salon next door to the Ulta, and they'll try to squeeze me in tomorrow.

My sweet of heart told me this afternoon after I got home, that he was really glad I wasn't mad at him......for a change....  :whatever:...he did make me laugh though.

My eyes are blue or green...usually depending on what I wear....but according to those close to me....they get very green when I get angry.

Mrs. Lug-nut's eyes turn from brown to jet black when she's mad.  I generally find something to do outside when I see that happen.   :uhsure: :innocent:

He has his good points... :naughty:

I do make it easy for him to make me cookies....I buy those Toll House Ultimates in the dairy section of the grocery when they are on sale and keep them in the freezer. Just have to let them thaw about 10-15 minutes and bake them. They aren't as good as homemade from scratch...but they are a pretty close substitute. Plus there are only 12 of them, so we don't go too crazy pigging out on them.  :uhsure:

It's the thought that he does it that means the most. Might just marry him after all!
