Met A Madoff Victim Today

Went to the grocery store this afternoon to pick up some side dishes for dinner tonight. I paid, got some change for laundry and headed to my car. Well hopefully today is the turning point for weather here in Memphis....anyhow there was a elderly gentleman collecting shopping carts and I made eye contact with him and said "NICE DAY" he responded yes!! it is....I joked a bit with him and asked him if this was a summer job he replied that he wished it was and said that he was having to return to work because his retirement he put away money for was part of the Madoff SCAM.

He said he participated in his Unions plan and had transferred funds from his employer plan to his Union plan as it looked better structured....He said he had around 750K and has lost most of it....I said Im sorry this has happened to you and assured him that President Obamas administration will be dealing with this in the coming months....he said he voted REPUKE and said he now believes he threw his vote away and that the PUKES would have let this slide by without accountability....

He was 78 years old and had been retired for 16 years and figures he will be now working until he has formaldehyde in his veins...

It even has a conversion in it.

25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have Obama, no hope and no cash.

Ya know what's so laughable?  Madoff was a Democratic money man (a bunch of Dem politicians got money from him).  So was the guy in Houston, to an extent, because he split his donations 2:1 for Dems over Republicans.  'Course, most people have no clue about this, as the leftstream media hasn't told the public.

Yes Madoff was a bid dem contributor. And, his wife helped rip off the Jewish "Sowbird" population in Fla., and, frankly, they are VERY lib dem.

So, of course, the story's yet another work of fiction.

Gee.  The old guy must have been living pretty close to the edge to have already had to get a job rounding up shopping carts.  The guy was worth at least three-quarters of a million dollars and he had it all in one basket?

This is very disgusting. There used to be a time when the DUmmies took a little pride in their fabricated tales. Now it's like they're just lying to be lying. What happened to the good ole days? Where's BouncyBall gone? And the "cop jumping out of the bushes" dude? Why can't we have entertaining fabrications like those from days gone by?

DUmmies, I beseech you to PLEASE work on your creativity. Think before you post. Ask yourself if your fabrication is worthy of being called a Bouncy Tale. If it's not, don't post it. It doesn't make you less of a DUmmie. All is not lost. You can always entertain us in other ways. Do some more experiments with wire and cinder blocks. I'm positive if you put your mind to it you could do an experiment with wire and cinder blocks that would "prove" that getting an imaginary pony is much better than having a real house, real job, and real food to eat. Remember, each and every one of you is a "super genius" just like Wile E. Coyote. You've all professed that repeatedly. So put that "genius" to work.

chuck schumer (democrat new york) should be forced to give all of Madoff's money back. [/dumode if schumer were a republican]
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

A better bouncy would have had him blaming the unions and a cop jumping out of the bushes to set the old man straight.

I hear tell that Madoff's accountant is being charged and possibly arrested today. That the charges, if ferved consecutively, will add up to 115 years in the slam. Can the Mrs. and sons be far behind?

It sounds to me like the old gent should have left his money safely in his company retirement plan instead of moving it to the evil unions retirement plan.  :uhsure:

This is one of the worst bouncies I have ever read. You will never convince me a repub, union member or not, would actually let the union take care of their money unless it was a union pension. For goodness sake, unions have been corrupt since the days of Al "Scarface" Capone!
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!
