Sorry if this has been gone over but has anyone seen freedumb?  He isn't on the members list anymore .... maybe I missed something.

I believe he stopped posting after that facebook fiasco thread.  His choice, from what I can tell.  If anyone knows how to contact him IRL, maybe someone can see if he plans to return.

On a similar vein, I know Frank is busy IRL with work and all, but I miss him.

Apparantly when a member requests that their account be deleted it no longer shows up in the Membership Listing.

This would appear to be the case here.

The account is pending deletion.

Meaning, if I understand this correctly, that a member may NOT delete his own account? That such action has to be taken by an admin?

Yes.

You hit the "Request Deletion" button but it takes someone on the Admin staff to approve it.

apparantly once you do that though it removes your usr name from the active user list.

He was a prolific poster and while not always in agreement with other members, he contributed a lot to the board. The decision was/is entirely his. Perhaps he will reconsider.
