Tuesday Happy Saint Patrick's Day.

Happy Saint Pats!

I fondly recall what an awesome drinking holiday it was from college. 5 am the bars would open and we would be ralphing in the alleyways on the way to the diner by 10 most years.

This year my daughter made green pancakes for everybody. :)

Supposed to get up near 75 today. I am cautiously optimistic that warmer days may be coming.  Until I see Robins screwing in the yard and actual green grass growing I am going to assume it is an evil plot.

Happy St Paddy's day.

Hoping the sun comes out today.  It will still be soggy, even if it does, but I need sun! 

Baseball practice for the young one tonight.  Had a meeting last night, but no practice.   Mr Flame "oops" in his message taking on Sunday...the phone call was about the YOUNGER son's team, not the older son.  I got a call about his team yesterday and figured out the mistake.  Good and bad aspects in my younger son's team, so I hope it's a good year, but I did hear my kid was the #1 daft pick. (Yes, I'm bragging!  :uhsure:) 

Older son is bummed...has the same coach as he did last year, and he's not the greatest, but I'm still hoping for a good year.

Highs tomorrow are supposed to be close to 70, so I'm looking forward to that!

I had this horrible craving this morning for breakfast meat and eggs.  I hit the minimart after dropping the mancub at school and the fridge case where they normally have eggs and such is broke. :(

I go to the other gas station in town and they are out of everything. They had microwave maple sausages, :p

So rather than drive over to the grocery store in the next village I moped home and resigned myself to an unsatisfying breakfast.

I got home and was digging through the freezer for something to thaw for breakfast and stumbled apon a squirreled away package of fresh uncured side pork. The Holy Grail of breakfast meat.  :yahoo:

Cooking in the pan even as I type this.
