Grew up around the water (surfed all my life, well since I was eleven), love the water, got out of the Guard for all the wrong reasons.  Here's a little venture I'm involved with now:

You totally have to get this-




All you have to do is plug your directv receiver into it and it finds the satellite wherever you are. I want it for my RV and Im going to be doing overtime this month to save up for it.

Some of the boats around us have things like that.  I don't really need the tv (hell, I barley watch tv at home).  I would like an internet connection though  :banghead:

I also "need" my internet connection when I go out in the RV, so I got the verizon air card. I havent found a place yet where I can't hook up. All you do is stick it in the pmciiaci-whatever slot in the laptop. I wonder how far out it would work for you.

I'll be happy if it works on the dock.  I'm an AT&T customer, but I think they have the same thing.  Been meaning to check into it.

I think the AT&T speeds are even better than VZ. I love my air card. Its like $50 a month unlimited, and I can even stream video. Downloading anything takes forever. But I can do email and post at well, now conservativcave, in the woods!   :-)
