Boy, 4, takes pot to pre-school

TAMARAC — A 4-year-old boy had marijuana in his book bag when he showed up at his pre-school, according to local television reports.

The discovery was made Friday at Tamarac Pre-school Academy, according to WSVN-Ch. 7.

According to the station, the youngster gave varying accounts of how he came to be carrying three small bags of marijuana.

First, he reportedly said that his brother put the marijuana inside his book bag to hide it. Then he said he found the pot in his brother's room.

According to WPLG-Ch. 10, the Department of Children and Families conducted a home investigation where the child lives and determined the youngster is in a safe and stable environment.
