26. seems like a good idea, but i want my wife to be able to use any weapon i own anytime
   
it would mean both of us having to wear rings that im sure the bad guys could defeat anyway. i have found the best way to secure your weapon is to always carry it on you,

Rubber bullets are widely availible and already in use.  As for the "neutralizing agent", isn't that the whole point of a lead bullet?  :hammer:

I suppose it should shoot out happy feelings and magic pixie dust.

'Rubber bullet' guns are like tear-gas greande launchers or attachments for other guns like those golf-ball shooters you can attach to an AR or other rifle.  The projos aren't exactly earth-mover tires, but they are pretty doggone sizable.

Are they even cognizant of what goes on beyond whatever thread they're raging in at the moment? They want safer alternatives but the "safer" alternaive is too dangerous even for the trained cops so we're left to wonder what Average Joe can use to defend himself.

Of course if tasers are too lethal what then are we to make of an officer's side arm?

I also like the phrasing "seem dangerous". I bet that never kept them from sniffing glue or dropping 'cid.
