OK, idiots, I'm going to give you a hypothetical.

You jerk off so much and so hard, that a genie emerges from the tip of your genitals and offers you the following choice:

A. We can return to the economy that existed just before Democrats took control of Congress (look it up: 14000 Dow, 25-year-low unemployment, among other things), BUT you and your idiotic jackass friends could never, ever again mention prosecution of anyone from the Bush Administration for "war crimes."

OR

B. The economy can continue on its Obama-guided trajectory to 20% unemployment and removal of all personal wealth (including yours), but GWB and Dick Cheney would face charges at the Hague, which may well be dismissed or beaten altogether.


Which do you choose? Because I think we all know what the answer is.

The problem here is you assume they care about the shape of the economy.  The Little Goons of DU see this "hell in a handbasket" as a good thing.  It's punishing "the rich".  Also, they use this mess (as dishonest as it is) to paint President Bush. 

Never assume logic is anywhere in a fifty mile radius of a Little Goon.  It's all about emotion and this particular moment.  Like with small domesticated animals and human infants, tomorrow hasn't happened yet, so it doesn't matter.

I agree with Undies, they would rather have Bush charged with war crimes than have the economy back on track.

Yep . . . they would rather see their country go right into the septic tank and wallow, as long as they can see President Bush and VP Cheney humiliated.  Though, I'd like to think that there's a lot of honest, hardworking folks that would either 1) Resist with all means available this attempt to **** up the USA, even to using deadly force (i.e., civil war), or 2) make damn sure that they repaid the debt when President Obama leaves office in four years, as the precedent will have been set.
