Obama: Romney An "Ineffective Candidate"
« on: February 07, 2008, 09:45:23 PM »
OMAHA, NE -- Barack Obama called Mitt Romney's candidacy "ineffective" on the day that the former MA governor exited the presidential race.

Romney, who dropped out of the race for president today in Washington, said in his exit speech that the GOP must unify and not allow Democrats to allow the country to "surrender to terror."

"Well my reaction to Mitt Romney's comment that's the kind of poorly thought out comment that lead him to drop out," Obama said during a press avail on his campaign plane. "It's a classic attempt to appeal to people's fears that will not work in this campaign. I think that's part of the reason he was such an ineffective candidate."

Hmm. Well there's a kernal of truth to that. If Mitt had run an effective campaign he would be in the lead right?

I keep hearing all these talking heads saying "he couldnt get more delegates" well, my state, and many others, havent even had their primaries yet. So, they took away any choice we had and who knows what Mitt would have taken? All of this McCain rancor out there - surely Mitt would have stayed competitive? He at least should have been given the shot to see what happened.

Yup. More than a kernal. In fact my dear old Ma might even go so far as to say, "no sh** Sherlock!". After all, there is only one effective presidential candidate per dozen every 4 years.  ::) ::)

I beg to differ - you can be a losing candidate and still shape the race, RR in '76. Hillary is going to show him exactly what he means by the term he misuse.

Just an empty suit, nothing but space between those big ears. Vapid and vacant.
