Dear Night Owl,
If YOU had an extra, say $25-50K burning a hole in your bank account and a good credit line, would you be inclined to start a business?  Let's say a smallish manufacturing business which would require 5 machine shop guys and a front office girl to start out.  How about it?

Fire his cabinet, exile his VP, have Pelosi sent to prison, and resign.

If 0Bama would just shut the hell up for more than 1 day, the market might  go up a little.

I expect the greatness of my question to be reflected in my Reputation rating. Thank you for reading.

And I expected my free ****ing pony on January 21st.  Get used to disappointment.

Rush was just talking about how PM Brown gave the Messiah these really great gifts...first addition seven volume set of Winston Churchill's biography, a pen holder set made from the same wood as the desk in the Oval Office (HMS Gannet). Guess the Prime Minister thought if the Bamster read the biographies he'd understand the significance of the bust he had sent back. In return Obama gave Brown 25 DVD's of classic American movies...you know the kind you can buy at Amazon. The man is absolutely self absorbed and doesn't have an ounce of class.

Cindie

Not only was that a pretty tacky, low-class gift, you can't even play American DVD's in British DVD players, for some reason. Tacky, low-class, and useless. Sort of like Jughead himself.

When has Socialism ever worked over capitalism?

That reminds me of a trivia question.

When was the only time the Los Angeles Rams ever won the Super Bowl ?

If you know the answer then you know a place where socialism always beats Capitalism.

And it makes me sad and angry that so many of our young people get their information from that sick place.

Then you're never taking questions.

Why don't you set the limit at when the Obamessiah is out(sted) of (from) office?  That day will come a lot sooner. :fuelfire:

I have a really good question so get ready for it. Are you ready? Okay, here it comes. I'm just about to start typing it. Get ready to be blown away...

If you are among those who think that Barack Obama is responsible for the current state of the economy will you give him credit for his handling of the economy should it bounce back?

I expect the greatness of my question to be reflected in my Reputation rating. Thank you for reading.

If and I stress if the economy bounces back under the Great Pony Plan then you might see some positive results on this reputation thing.

I gave you a high 5 just to help along.

The standard I use in judging the current president is (a) his promises, and the promises of those speaking for him, weighed against (b) his performance, his results.

The chasm's getting wider.

How much better it would have been, if the current president, and those speaking for him, had been less promiscuous, less extravagant, in their promises.  One suspects the current president would have won the election--it's a cyclical thing--without making so many promises anyway.

But no, he and those speaking for him had to shoot off their mouths, even if they uttered unrealistic, irresponsible promises.

I suspect criticism and doubts about the current president would have been considerably less, if he had just emulated Calvin Coolidge.

     Is that really true?

Wow. What an uncouth, sack of shit, lowlife family. Imagine the howling if GWB sent back a bust of one of the greatest statesmen in human history, and followed it up with a box of DVD movies. I wonder if any of them had been previously viewed?

The irony is staggering. Everything the Dumbasses THOUGHT Bush did, Obama is ACTUALLY doing. His FIRST budget increases the deficit more than ALL THE PRESIDENTS BEHIND HIM, COMBINED. He gives cheap and thoughtless gifts and embarrasses our staunchest ally in the world. I am ashamed of this empty suit of shit, but unlike the DUmmies, I have an actual REASON to be ashamed.

Let me see if I've got this straight........this is the same guy that, during the campaign, promised that if elected, would place America back in the position of being loved and respected by the rest of the world.....heal the wounds, so to speak......and now, this clown:

Insults our closest ally, treating the PM like a second-class citizen, resulting in ultimately being mocked in the UK press........

Sponsors a gigantic spending bill, which includes "protectionist" provisions, that invoke huge protests from nearly every leader in the EU, plus Canada, Korea, and China......

Launches a clandestine dialog with the Russian Federation over Iran that pisses off every country in Eastern Europe, and is met with a hardy guffaw from the Russian PM......

Throws our closest, and strongest ally in the Middle East under the bus, by promising a large handout to their enemies, which results in the unintended consequence of the demise of the left-leaning government in that country......

Is derided and insulted by several tin-pot communist dictators in Latin America........

ALL OF THIS in just six weeks in office........

This must be "Change that we can Believe in"...........

I think I might have given PM Brown a surrendered officer's sabre from the Revolution or 1812 along with a ceremony and SHORT presentation speech saying it celebrates our fast and PERMINANT alliance.

As long as liberals have a warm feeling about having a black man in the White House, it will not matter where the Dow is, how many Jews are incinerated, how much of Europe and Asia come under Russian and Chinese boots, how many middle class people move to government housing, or anything else. AT LEAST THEY FEEL GOOD ABOUT HAVING A PERSON WHO IS BLACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

I can't wait until Stewart or Colbert get their budgets cut, or HBO turns Maher loose, or until Air America loses more and more affiliates. I can't wait until a Hollywood movie is a blockbuster if it makes $50 million, and I can't wait until CGI programmers, set designers, makeup artists, and production assistants start getting pink slips from TV shows and movie producers that do nothing but fellate the Messiah. I can't wait until Jann Wenner has to explain to his sycoophants why he has to let them go. I can't ****ing wait for everyone who thought the Messiah would crap gold bars to start HURTING.

Mr. Obama and his cabnet, legal and kitchen, do not under stand what money is, how it is dreated or destroyed, or what "wealth" is actually composed of. So their plan, as it is based on misunderstanding, cannot work. Kind of like going to the moon thinking the sun, moon stars, etc, are all on crystal spheres circling the Earth.
You're just not going to make it.

And Mr. Obama's plan is not going to be successful as it stands.
