My mom's boyfriend is coming over tomorrow to look at my electrical problems I've been having in my house lately.

I'm paying him with a carrot cake, so I'll be busy baking tonight.  My mom said as soon as she said "She'll bake you a carrot cake, he said 'I'll be there tomorrow!'"   :-)

Here I am in Killeen, near Ft Hood staying at a local hotel, getting ready for tomorrow's In Processing. Traffic in Dallas SUCKED!!! I-35 south of Dallas SUCKED!! They had it closed down to one lane in a few places.  :banghead: Some semi driver tried to run me off the road (or run me over in my truck). F'n 'tard. I didn't realize just how BIG Waco had grown. After In processing tomorrow, I head to San Angelo. It's 90° here today, but it didn't feel like it. Felt like a good 75°. The humidity must be really low. Of course, it's ALMOST desert here.

Started spring cleaning or something like it....I'm doing a room at a time....could be next Christmas before I get done. Not because there is that many rooms.....but I hate to clean.

I got most of the family room area done today. (I also worked in between cleaning) Michael said he was skairt....he was afraid lightning was gonna strike the house because I was cleaning.....the smart ass.... :hammer:

I did however make some incredible brownies.....to die for....actually, they should be referred to as "orgasm by brownie"....

I took a Duncan Hines box of Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix. Mixed 2 eggs, 1/4 c water, 1/2 c Crisco oil and whisked them to slightly frothy. Dumped in the mix, about 1c semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2c Kraft caramel bits, and 3/4c chopped pecans. Barely stirred it all together with a spatula. Dumped it in a greased 9x13 pan. Then took Hershey Chocolate syrup and drizzled it all over the top. Baked @ 350 for 28 minutes. Cooled a bit and sprinkled powdered sugar all over the top.

Oh my gosh.....they are wickedly scrumptious...... :naughty:

Sunday is Daylight Savings Time... we switch back to Standard Time.  Be sure to set your clocks forward one hour. :p
