Okay maybe not.  I would settle for cream cheese for my bagel this morning but that's not going to happen. :(

Allergy shots for the kids this afternoon. Whee.

Cold dreary sort pre-spring day here. The temps are getting up there and the latest snow is melting off.  Revealing pretty dramatic and depressing proof that we should have raked our lawn last fall because it is a bloody mess out there. Also kind of a pain trying to clean off the dog's muddy little paws every time she goes out to do her bidness. :p

I need to hit the lawn with some weed killer early on this year and see about getting an exterminator to treat the damn box elder tree with something that might kill the drifts of those stupid box elder bugs before they start daisy chaining all over the place agin this year.

I think we have to just live with the hordes of asian beetles.

In keeping with the title theme, the girlfriend and I went dancing last night. I was able to stay out late (10pm) because I am off today.

Sunny day, high of about 45, but tomorrow...tomorrow is the day!  High of 68 expected!

Still have a hacking cough, but I'm surviving.  Have a parent meeting tonight at dance, preparing for the FINAL (thank the lord!) fundraiser of this year...Basket Bingo on Sunday.  Have to take the "new" car in for an alignment in the morning (Mr Flame put new struts on), then an insection, and it's finally ready for the road.  Then the fun starts...I get to teach my daughter how to drive a standard!

Found out I might be working Saturday AND Sunday, with 5 AM starts.  If so, fine, if not, fine.  I'm too damn tired to care anymore.

Thursday... it IS my Friday!

I love four day weeks. 3 classes today, then I get to spend the weekend writing my history midterm, a 5 page paper on Alexander Nevskii.

Just found out I'm not working this weekend.  Sleep and beer will be mine!!!  Muahahahahaha!

Since I switched shifts with a co-worker, I didn't have to go to work today as originally scheduled.  :cheersmate:

I stopped in at another Publix location and picked up some Mardi Gras chicken wings (baked with a tasty seasoning).   Then went to pick up copies of my tax forms that my mom mailed to me. 

I did some spring cleaning earlier, with homework being planned for later.  Now, its time for POGO.com! :popcorn:

I'm either a slob or a perfectionist because I'm always amazed at how dirty my little ol' apartment seems to be all the time. I can't imagine what a house of mine might look like!

  I have a big ole down stairs with hardwood floors so swiffer and a push broom save a lot of work.. :-)

My whole house is hardwood or vinyl flooring.  I don't use a push broom, but I have a great canister vacuum that makes it easy to clean the floors.
