Police Brutality(?) caught on tape?

This looks like a vicious attack. Supposedly the officer claims the shoe caused a scrape on his shin, but it looks more like he hurt himself on the toilet in the corner.

These officers need to serve hard time. That's what NEEDS to happen to get the Police State under control. I've been assaulted in the line of duty. I didn't beat the crap out of somebody because of it. I DID resort to using a submission hold.

The stress of their jobs are so high I am more surprised it doesn't happen more often.  That being said, that officer needs some intense therapy before anyone hands him a gun again.

I bet she won't do that again.  :fuelfire:

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

That cop needs to be fired outright.

It was an obvious example of excessive force.  She kicked a shoe at him and gets that type of a take down?

I don't know.  I have a 10 year old daughter and her mouth sometimes makes me wish I could do that.  I swear she gets more and more like me every day.  It is going to be a really longggggggggggg 15 years until she gets her grown up brains in. :bawl:

I have a high stress job.  Most people in the military have a job that entails just as much stress, if not more then what that man does.

There is no excuse at all for that type of thing to ever happen.  I hope the judge nails his ass as hard as he can for this.

From all appearances, though, this is way overreacting. In many cases I have no problem with the tactics used to subdue violent suspects, but kicking you shoe off at some falls far short of that. This officer has some serious issues that need addressed.

Short of this girl pulling a gun on this cop there is no excuse for a MAN to manhandle a 15 year old girl.

You guys are wayyyyyyyyy more sympathetic than I am.  Have you been around 15 year olds lately.  They are like the spawn of satan.

First.    :rotf:  that is hilarious .... you know what I'm talking about.

Second

I have a 16 year old son and a 15 year old daughter.  I wouldn't have to do this to either of them.  I could pin them on the ground in a nano second without the use of slamming them up against the wall or punching them in the head.

Granted, should I need to do that I would but from what I see on that video that cop went way overboard.
