i think Obama should invite Rush to the WH for a conversation...
just like Lyndon Johnson did with then-governor George Wallace. At this conversation, he should imply and Rush should infer, what is going to come out about him if he does not hop on board. It won't just be the tabloids talking about drugs and pedophilia AND in case anyone here's upset about this...how do you think the two Bushes kept their folks in line? When one or another of the RWers got out of line, all of a sudden there were stories about House/Senate pages, about diapers, and the like.

...and Obama's good at this...see what he did to that slimy prick Eric Cantor the other day? Nailed his ass. With a smile.

I love how scared of Rush they are.

Speaking of diapers, where's that picture of the latest democrat senator wanna-bee? .... :rotf:

Why should Obama or any democrats care if Rush Limbaugh "hops on board" or not?  I guess that whole freedom of speech and voicing dissent applies only to democrats when a republican is president.

I don't think Rush Limbaugh can be intimidated by a stupid liberal, even if that stupid liberal is occupying the Oval Office.

The stupid liberal is intimidated by Rush Limbaugh.  Rush has the nation's ear.  Sorry, DUmbasses.

Laying asid the fact that if any of that were true it would have long ago been found out the DUmmy seems to miss an obvious fact

Attempted blackmail and/or extortion are actual crimes and impeachable offenses, you know DUmbasses...those things you never, ever had on your side when it came to your ranting about President Bush.

Go ahead and try...it will be fun.

If Obama DID Invite Mr. Limbaugh to the White House...I do believe the conversion would be OPPOSITE of what the DUmmies are hoping for.

Oh an DUmmies...while you continue to make Rush the focus of your Liberal hatred...you're allowing the REAL leader of the RNC to work under the radar to rebuild the Conservative base.

And this Conservative Republican voter thanks you for allowing that to happen.

While Obama will talk to America's enemies he will never talk to his enemies.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I'm wondering what would happen should Limbaugh run for and attain the  Presidential office at some point in the future.

Imagine the reaction from the left.

13. No no no spanone let the pusbag go and then let President Obama kick his every hating ass
all over the White House. pusbag is so full of shit that O would nail him first off and never let up. rushbo would leave out of there like a turpentined dog. He'd be licking his wounds on air to the point that it would turn off most of his listeners. Once they see that he is nothing but a big ole stinking bag of shit they'll drop him like a hot potato. I don't think rush limbaugh has much longer to go on our airways, I feel it in my bones. President Obama and his friends know what is wrong with this country and they know pusbag is part of it. I'm loving watching how they are so artfully taking him down too. rushbo doesn't even know whats happening yet, he's so ****ed, so ****ed big time. I say lets watch and soon start really enjoying the show, the show that is in the beginning stages.

8. That reminds me of that movie 8 Days in May
Where the president had the goods on the right wing general that was attempting a cope and he invited him in and had the evidence in a dower.
the General would not give and he reached for the drawer but stooped.
he put his trust in the people and survived.

20 H5's (no matter how long it takes) to whoever can explain the above post to me. I don't even care if you saw the movie this dude is rambling about.

16. Obama has constructed the worlds largest strawman. For real!
He has elevated Rush to defacto head of repuke party. He keeps saying things bordering on treason, or at least obnoxious. The repukes are afraid of Rush. It is a gift that keeps on giving. Dont you any of you touch what Obama has wrought.

Now I have to say it, if "bordering on treason, or at least obnoxious" does not describe the mindset of DU toward Obama criticism, I don't know what does.

One last thought vis-à-vi the OP. George Wallace and Lyndon Johnson were on the same team. Though they did both seek the party nomination in 1964 the WH invite was a kiss and make up/party unity deal.

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

It's a little late for that.  Obama already made Limbaugh an issue in his Administration when he opened his big flappy mouth.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

What is "attempting a cope?"

I would assume they meant coup, but I can't really tell with the terminally stupid.
