Tom not in Tib anymore
He's in the process of relocating his gallery to Sonoma. There's supposed to be a newspaper article describing the effect of the recession on Ark Row in Tiburon. I'll add a link when I find it.

For everybody who expressed interest in his whereabouts.

For years, downtown Tiburon's eclectic mix of restaurants, galleries, apparel and other stores have attracted town residents and tourists alike. But poor winter sales and vacancies have left a handful of large empty storefronts and put residents and town officials on the alert about the health of the business community.

"How was our fourth quarter? Disastrous," Tom Wright said last week from the Opia Gallery along historic Ark Row. "I think everyone in town suffered."

...Wright's gallery closed as of Friday and is relocating to Sonoma. The move is only because there are greater opportunities to the north, not because money was being lost in Tiburon, and there is interest in the Ark Row space the gallery held.

Wait. Its Tom's gallery now? I thought he was just the janitor or something.
and Tom doesn't have a car. So its not like he is moving with the gallery. They'll have to hire someone new.

But with the TiT's resume, I doubt he will have a problem finding a new job elsewhere. There's always the Thunderbird Wine distributor.

They make out like they're moving because it's believed they'll do better in a different location.  Maybe that's the case, maybe not.

Of course, TiT takes the opportunity to interject his kookyness into the conversation just to let everyone know he's still a class 1-A liar.

There's always the Thunderbird Wine distributor.

Yeah, but they want truck drivers, not wine tasters.

I'm at the point with this nitwit where I believe he's a pro at identity theft.

He assumes the lives of people who are far better off in life than he is and lives vicariously through them on the internet at the one place that will swallow his bullshit hook line and sinker.

The DUmp.

There probably really IS a Tom Wright that owns a gallery.

But it's not out TiT

The stories about the second most decorated Sailor in the Navy are probably true.

But it's not our TiT.

I think you guys get the idea of where I'm going with this.

I wouldn't doubt if what TRG says has some truth to it.

OTOH, it's odd that TiT claims the store in Tiburon isn't losing money, but they're shutting it down entirely.  I fully understand that a business could be making money but it's just not enough to make it worth the while of keeping it open, but it wasn't long ago he was bragging about that particular store and how well it was doing.  Now, it's so bad they decided it's better to pull up stakes and leave.  Sorry, but pulling up and leaving is typically not a last second decision, not if you want to stay in business long (no matter where you're located).  Rash decisions like that tend to carry over to how you manage your business as a whole.  So unless he's an idiot when it comes to running a business, which with TiT is likely the case anyway, then his former bragging was just more lies.

Of course, TiT lies so much who can say what is and isn't true about any of it.

So the quarter during the election was disastrous, but after Obama gets elected, everything magically turns around for TiT so much he has to close up shop.

Tom claims that they're closing the Opia gallery in Tiburon and moving to Sonoma.

Interesting that there already is an Opia gallery in Sonoma.  Sounds more like they just closed the Tiburn store.

Wait. Its Tom's gallery now?

Please notice the wording.

"Wright's gallery" is not the same thing as "Wright, owner of the gallery."

It's more likely to mean, "the gallery where Wright works."

The Tiburon store was probably closed because the fat, drunken, smelly, bigot who worked there was scaring off customers to the point where profits fell.

When I saw the lying tits primitive's comment about that, for some really odd reason, a "picture" of Baghdad Bob popped up inside the head.

Should someone inform Sonoma that TiT is on his way?

Well, if the hired hand keeps his job in Tib/Sonoma, we'll just have to call him TiTS.

Yes, it would seem the ideal opportunity to negotiate a lower rental wher ehe is or move to one of the empty stores to get it.

This is the best part of the article

"I have had people come in and tell me, 'Wow, where have all the businesses gone?'" Wright said.

In reality, there are only about a half-dozen highly visible vacancies, including the De Lano's grocery store and the building at the end of Tiburon Boulevard near Main Street.
