Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

The road to freedom is paved with dead liberals.

1800 RPM is pretty timid.  Even my wheeze-tastic Kia would get up and go if you told it to, and I had no trouble going through the Smokies with it.  Didn't have no fancy MPG readout on it, though.

I'm pretty tickled with our rental here.

Hertz gave us a Mercury Mariner, which is a pimped up version of the Ford Escape I've been driving for 7 years.

That Escape is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

I always like the Escape... it's a nice-sized little vehicle and attractive.  I would love to have the 25-mpg hybrid.

Tell ya what, I have 109,000 miles on mine and the thing has done everything I ever asked it to do and when I was in Washington state I took that thing up mountain roads a billy goat had no business being on.  It also handles better in snow and rain than any other vehicle I have ever driven.  I average between 20 and 24 on the highway.

When it gives up the ghost I am replacing it with another one.

I loved the rentals I've had... 2008 Chrysler Aspen was my vehicle for travelling (when I needed to get to Savannah) when my Mazda 626 entered the morgue (the mechanic's shop) over a year ago.

A female-friendly large SUV.  I loved it, and the gas mileage was actually pretty good.  It was very easy to handle (well, if you can handle a Suburban with ease, the Aspen was a piece of cake).

I do remember taking a wrong turn in it off of highway 204, and ended up in the ghetto...  :o :lmao: 23 year old female and a fancy SUV...  some freaky looking people staring at me was not my idea of fun... :hammer:

As for that 2009 Lincoln Town Car... drove like I was floating on a cloud.  Still felt like an old-people's car... I miss the 80's model Town Car. :p

I had to rented a car this past summer. A Nissan Altima. Because it was a rental, it was a beat up POS. But, considering my Blazer was having a rear put in and the vehicle I was using (borrowed from a friend) was an old Chevy C-10 that leaked exhaust into the cab, the Altima was not so bad.
