There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

See, Badcat has a band, but I'm the last person he'd want as a fan. They'd break up soon after. I know his style of music and would probably enjoy the hell out of it. Then again, I'm a HUGE fan of Rush and they're still together.

That sucks.

Rock n Roll is a crazy business.

I know of guys that still just only play on weekends, when they can get a gig, thinking they will make it big some day. They have been playing the same sets for 20 years! Most of them have a wife with a good job, so I guess if they can get away with it, more power to them.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

As far as dumbass moves, look at Shinedown. They go big and the lead guitarist..............leaves.   :loser:

I was kinda hoping the Bad Cat would chime in since he's somewhat of a music connoisseur.

Have you heard of Brother Cane?

Can't put my finger on it but that sounds like a Bad Company song.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
