Can someone please explain why it was acceptable for nearly all of us to refer to Bush as the"Chimp"
Advertisements [?]and the "Chimperor" was acceptable? I "get" how the Post cartoon was racist but I wonder what it says about all of us that we would use "chimp" derogatorily to describe Bush? Since most of us are aware that such an appellation has been used to demean African Americans , were we not indirectly participating by using this description to mock Bush with derision?

But why would we be using a phrase derogatory to African Americans?
There are many other insults that could be used. WHY did we use this phrase which demans African Americans to decrible the horrible behavior of Bush?

32. No, we were comparing him to an animal because of his behavior, not
insulting him about his skin color. Calling him white trash, or a cracker, now that would be bigoted, but not calling him a chimp.

8. Behavior vs skin color/ancestry country.
I called him the chimp because he behaved like one. Not because of his skin color or ancestry country.

There a lot more crap over there.

The dummies can justify anything they say or do and have an excuse for everything.  That's why so many of them have financial problems and social skill issues.

Another fine example of how the DUmp nuggets are exempt from their self-fabricated codes of conduct.

Irony thy name is DUmmie.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

The primitive makes a good point.  If the term "chimp" in any way reminds black people of a racist slur that has been used towards them, then by the DUmmies using the word "chimp" on Bush, what they were essentially doing was calling him a ni**er.  That, BTW, would be quite in line with the threads they start complaining about racial epithets just so they can use the topic as cover to use racial epithets.

Oh, the snobbish primitive, the "uppityperson" primitive, is just a silly old twit, just like the silly primitive, the "SoCalDem" primitive.

Privately, I call the snobbish primitive "Dorothy."

The snobbish primitive is the best mole-detector on Skins's island, and I'm confused that my fellow alum Skins doesn't have her on the payroll, she's so good.  She's a lot better, and perhaps cheaper, than any of these "mole detector" computer programs that Skins buys for the elusive enigmatic Elad to use.

The snobbish primitive is on the threshhold of her seventh decade of life, a semi-retired registered nurse (R.N.) who works out of home via computer, on medical transcripts and billings.  She and her husband live outside of Seattle, Washington, on an "acreage" in the wilderness, imagining they're living life like it was in the good old days.

Omitting to remember that Abe and Mary in their log cabin in the woods during the good old days didn't have things such as.....electric log-splitters.

What first caught my interest in the snobbish primitive some years ago when she commented that she trusted the terrorists more than she trusted the then-president of the United States.

She's just such a silly pile of beans, Dorothy.

I think we all knew this was going to happen. Any and all criticism of the Obamessiah administration is going to be painted as racist, even though I'm fairly sure the cartoon was intended as a slap at the congressional authors of the stimulus bill rather than B. Hussein. They played the dog-eared and worn race card to the hilt during the campaign and there's no reason to believe it won't continue for the next four years.

Chimps aren't monkeys, yo. They're part of the great apes.

Yeah...it's not like they ever accused Bush of being a RepubliKKKlan just because he's white and did something they didn't like.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
